It was fun and the local actors did a good job of engaging the Audience. The fact that we were only 1 of three tables that missed on who did it was even more funny. We simply over thought as we guessed it right pout of the gate but wavered on our opine.

What a fun time!!! I attended this activity because of a valued friend who gifted the evening to me as a birthday gift. She and I attended on June 3, 2022. It was such an enjoyable evening! The audience attendees all seemed to thoroughly enjoy the performance. I base that on the fact of the jubilant audieance participation! The staff was great, the food was great, the service was great and of course the actors were super great. What a fun time. The world today is in such need of a stress reliever at this time, so I say to you all, "Get to Texas Star Dinner Theater for a night to reduce all of your stresses and enjoy a great night out!!!!

We visited the Texas Star Dinner Theater for our company Christmas Party and it was an absolute hit! The show was hilarious and the cast did an amazing job of getting the entire room involved in the performance. The wait staff was attentive- Mika is an exceptional waitress! We can't wait to go back for another show. Well done!!

We took our friends out for their Christmas gift to this great venue I truly enjoyed the entire evening. The food was very good and had a great selection. The entertainment was exceptional. We found that the interaction the actors had with the audience that's the best part.

I took a group of friends to this place and was immediately impressed by the service. The food was fabulous! We each ordered different meals from vegetarian to grilled chicken and each person reported that their meal was delicious. We even argued over whose dessert was best. It is still a tie between the cheese cake and the apple pie!
The actors were hilarious and used the room in a way that made it interactive and engaging. I am so glad we decided to do this. We will forever remember this unique experience. If you are on the fence about booking, let me do you a favor and encourage you to book! You will NOT regret it.

Get there early so you will have plenty of time to enjoy one (or two) of the themed cocktails from the bar menu and the really tasty meal that is served before the show starts. We were part of a large group and had a great time. We saw the "No Home for the Holidays" show and it was really entertaining. The actors are moving around the tables during the performance so you will feel like you are in the middle of it all. The only negative that I experienced is that there are 2 single bathrooms and it's not possible to discreetly slip away from your table to go if you need to. One bathroom is right there in the seating area and the other is by the bar. They do tell you to walk across the patio by the bar to the restaurant next door for bathrooms if needed but keep in mind that you will be waiting until intermission or after the show, so plan accordingly. : ) Also, while this show is good fun for teens and older, I would not bring younger kids here.

I saw the "Bushwacked at Bronco Bob's" show in February of 2020. The show was amazing with very professional actors. The interaction with guests was a fun twist to the show! It was also hilarious with appropriate jokes. I definitley recommend this dinner theatre!

You can mark this off your list of places to visit in Grapevine. My husband surprised me with what was supposed to be a nice date night. As soon as we walked in we were singled out by the manager. We sat at a table in the back, could not see or hear anything. If we did laugh, the manager told us to be quiet. The manger also grabbed my arm, I am sorry but you definitely are not allowed to touch a woman you don’t know. So dispite all this I have respectfully waited to write my review until we spoke to the owner. He claimed we were drunk and supposedly reached out to other guests around us which is NOT true because being from grapevine I knew a another 3 couples there that I guess “he just happened to not talk to.” The owner also claimed that we were not present for naming our table, which is also not true because if you ever go, you understand that you do in the beginning. I would hate for you to go and think that this how Texans treat people, treat women and treat someone in the military. If you want a quite date night with no fun, this place is for you. If you want to go a nice date, there many many many other places in Grapevine TX to go to for a very nice time.

We were treated to our first dinner theater experience by some dear friends, who had been to other productions in this venue. I must say, the wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Casual atmosphere, great entertainment and the actors were very nice and the interaction was terrific. We will definitely be back!

The show was fantastic. I have never laughed so hard in a long time. The cast was great and held the audience's attention through all 3 acts. The food was delicious and the wait staff was great. Great way to spend a Saturday night.

It is good family fun! One of the characters is usually a lady of "questionable character" but loved by all. Jokes are puny, nothing vulgar at all.

How many guests do you typically have on a given evening? How far in advance should we purchase tickets? I was happy to see you offer gluten free meals. Are you careful about cross contamination when cooking? my friend gets very ill if she ingests any gluten including anything cooked in the same pan or oil as something with gluten eg. sauces etc.
Written March 17, 2017
We typically seat about 95 guests. We do often sell out. Our suggestion for when to purchase varies throughout the year and also depends upon your party size. On average, we recommend purchasing about a week in advance for a Saturday night and four nights in advance for a Friday night. But always check, because you might be able to get tickets the day of the show at times.
For guests with any food allergies/sensitives, please note that all of the meals are prepared in the same kitchen and we cannot guarantee that there will not be cross contamination. We are happy to discuss specific allergies and accommodations over the phone at 817-310-5588.

Is this venue handicapped accessible? If the parking is far from the entrance, we will need to use two 3-wheeled scooters which can be used instead of chairs. Are bathrooms easy to access?
Written February 3, 2017
Our venue is handicapped accessible as there are no stairs in the venue. When purchasing your tickets, please let us know to expect your scooters so that we may plan the table arrangement for the evening for easy viewing and movement around the room as well as easy accessibility to the ADA restroom. Handicapped parking, however, is limited in our area. We usually recommend any guests in wheelchairs or scooters to be dropped off directly at our front door on Main Street. There are only two handicapped parking spaces that we share with the Chill Restaurant in the parking lot just north on Main Street.
We are also happy to give you any additional information over the phone at 817-310-5588. We hope to see you at the theater!

We do not recommend babies or very small children to attend. The actors perform in and around the tables where you are seated, so it is not a traditional theater atmosphere. As a previous guest mentioned, there is also gunfire and sometimes other loud noises in our shows. Our small child policy states that if a baby in attendance is disruptive then we will ask you to step outside until the child settles, and we cannot offer a refund if you were to miss the majority of the show. Thank you for asking!

We say "business casual," but nice jeans and a nice shirt is great with us. We like to avoid cutoffs shorts and more revealing clothing that one might wear out to a lake as we always have lots of guests celebrating various events such as birthdays and anniversaries.

Hi Alice,
Our 2015 ticket prices are $59 + tax per person. That includes our award winning comedy murder mystery; a three course meal; and coffee, tea, and water. It does not include gratuity or sodas/adult beverages from the bar.
Each guest gets to choose their entree and dessert when you purchase your tickets. There are four entrees to choose from: beef, chicken, fish and, vegetarian. In addition, there are three seasonal desserts to choose from.
As a previous answer mentioned, you can look on our website for current meal and dessert options.
We look forward to having you!
Written March 12, 2015
I am not sure of the cost because someone else paid for the tickets. If I remember correctly you had a choice of steak, chicken or fish. There may have been an vegetarian option also. The food was very good.

If I book a Royal Club:
Can I reserve a palapa
Can I get the premium liquers at any bar or restaurant
Does the WIFI reach the beach or by the nearest bar to the beach

Johnny, As much as we wish we were a little closer to a beach with umbrellas and sand in our toes, we have a sneaky suspicion that you may have accidentally click on the wrong venue for your question. After you get back from vacation, come and see us for some dinner and a fun comedy murder mystery!
