My husband and I recently returned from a visit to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for a friends wedding. We had a free day and decided to visit some of the wineries in Grapevine, TX. We visited 3 and our last stop was Farina's Winery. What a nice place. They offer a wine tasting as well as a full service menu. We opted for just the wine tasting and it was really nice. Our server was very nice and the wines were all very good. The Manager was also very nice and suggested some wines he thought we might like. We even ended up purchasing a Guwertzraminer that was really incredible. If you are doing any wine tasting in Grapevine, TX then Farina's Winery is the place to go.

Lovely place on grapevine Main Street. We got a table outside, the November evening was cool but comfortable. Great service from the waitresses and we enjoyed delicious warm artichoke hearts and a cheese plate for appetizers and lasagne for main. The Farina house Texas blend wine was fruity and delicious and good value for a bottle. Nice cozy and friendly atmosphere. Recommended.

This a a great wine bar/restaurant with a cool patio out back Lots of antiques inside . Nice happy hour, great service and not overpriced. Highly recommend checking this place out. Food has always been very good. Note. Wine only, no mixed drinks. (no smoking)

We have often stopped at Farina's to enjoy a delicious turkey sandwich and a glass of wine or beer. So different than before the bread which usually melts in your mouth was dry. There was 2 or 3 tiny not much more than scraps of ice cold turkey on the bread. The cheese spread was not on it and when we mentioned it to the waitress she brought out some, but ice cold cheese spread on ice cold turkey on dry bread left much to be desired. I ordered a muffaletta sandwich to go & only hope it's better. There was more help at the time we were there than customers, however; the service was slow and they made us feel like it was an imposition to wait on us.

We decided on lunch at Farinas after walking along the main street of Grapevine. Although it was 1 pm on a Saturday and they were very very busy, we were seated quickly. We decided on the baked whitefish with two sides. Both of us went for the asparagus. My husband chose the mashed potatoes, which were fine, and I selected the fresh fruit salad, which was small and fine except for the pineapple, which did not taste fresh. The whitefish was cooked perfectly...moist and tender! Some just ok bread came with the fish, which at $8.95 was value-priced, particularly given the portion size.

Service was fine, particularly considering how busy they were...there seemed to be a bridal shower somewhere in the back.....everyone seemed to be hustling to keep food coming. Our server did check back on us.

We enjoyed a glass of wine and all the beautiful woodwork in this restaurant. We definitely felt a sense of history in the place and enjoyed our lunch as well.

Hostess stuck us in the back when it was obvious there were tables in the front of the restaurant. Then waitress were a no show,u get these few and tiny pieces of bread in bread basket, but had to ask for bread2 times because no one would bring it to our tableVery inattentive felt like maybe it was a racial thing at this place. Mostly white customers. Waitresses need to learn some basic manners and how to serve fairly and timely all customers; otherwise, u get a bad review. Very disappointed. First and last time at this restaurant. Nice little Main St. but will go to another place next time. Never to Farina's

First of all - GREAT wine list. Affordable prices. Friendly staff and a laid back, welcoming vibe. Music on the weekends is not too loud. Plus, the ambiance - the European tasting bar, the antiques, the one-of-a-kind chandelier. The owner is there regularly and welcomes us like family. The servers are knowledable and attentive but not overbearing. Big thumbs up on this place. We will definitely go again!

Walking down the Main Street I stopped in here for dinner. I sat at the bar and was offered a sample of their white house wine, since I wasn't sure. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good and the atmosphere was cozy.

Great place if you love wine, but we were there for the food. A co-worker recommended we visit; some of us loved the food, one of us wasn’t a fan, and one of us thought it was okay. Definitely not your run of the mill Italian, not sure we’ll visit again, but if we do I think I would like to try the pizza. Prices were a little on the high side, but nothing outrageous.

The restaurant itself is decorated very nicely, exactly what you would expect to see a historic district. We made reservations on a Friday night; had we not, the wait wouldn’t have been too long but it was still packed. If you want to be able to sit and visit with your friends, be prepared to ask “what” a few times and get ready to use your loud voice; it was very loud and the live music (which was good) made it impossible to have a normal conversation.

Staff was pleasant; be sure to drive around back for parking.

The restaurant is located on historic main street in Grapevine. They were not able to seat our entire group together, but they did make an effort to accommodate us. The food was good, the wine selection was good. The problem was the live music. The front dining room was crowded with tables so not a lot of room for the musician. Given the cramped space, he would have been fine had he just been playing and singing. HOWEVER, he had a microphone and an amp... so for those of us seated closest to him, we had to either literally shout to have a conversation or we had to quickly say what we needed to as he transitioned from one song to the next. So, either lose the mic and amp or lose the musician altogether. It takes a LOT of wine to be able to tolerate an hour or more of VERY LOUD music when you're trying to enjoy friends and food.
