I absolutely love coming to kayak here. it’s always a smooth transaction when I get there and the employees are very helpful with assisting in getting ready and out for your kayaking journey. The lake is absolutely beautiful and you get the opportunity to take a dip in one of the many coves they have. It‘s a dope spot to have a cookout and water day. I highly recommend anyone to Lonestar at Grapevine!

My friends and I were highly impressed by the level of knowledge and warmth exhibited by the couple that owns Lonestar Adventure Sports. After changing our reservation time twice, and still having some of our party showing up late we were all amazed at the level of patience and professionalism that we received. Not at any point did we feel rushed, and they were gracious enough to chat and laugh with us as we waited for the rest of our party. Two hours on the water went by too quickly for us, and I think part of that had to do with the fact that the kayaks that this company rents out are so stable that you're not in constant fear of tipping over (I think I actually took a mini nap at some point ...lol). Overall we all had a fun time on the water, and got to catch part of the sunset as we were heading back to shore.
If you are the type of person who appreciates dealing with someone who is passionate and knowledgeable about what they do, you should definitely try out Lonestar Adventure Sports for your next kayak rental. Great equipment, friendly owners and genuine customer focus!!!!!!

The sunset kayak tour is the best in dfw!! The lake is so pretty and the views of the sunset are absolutely beautiful. Ive been to several kayak tours in dfw and they are the best!!

This was our first time kayaking. Staff at check in was not helpful AT ALL and when we asked for waterproof cases for phones as stated in our reservation we were told they didn’t have any. After we were checked in we were just just pointed in the direction of the equipment with no assistance. Once we got down to the kayaks there were no instructions given even though we stated several times that it was our first time. As the staff was attempting to push my daughters kayak into the water I had to tell him AGAIN that it was our first time and that we needed SOME sort of instructions. He acted very “put out” by the request and gave a 15 second “lesson” on what to do. It was very frustrating! The actual kayaking was fun, the area is nice and not too crowded. If you are an experienced kayaker (not that it’s difficult) and don’t mind poor customer service then it would be fine.

Such a lovely day, beautiful views. Helpful staff had the best time. We boooked golf carts, paddle board and kayaks.

We had a great time. We had a 2 person kayak. Loved the scenery and the wildlife was beautiful. I would love to go again af do paddle boarding next time. The employees were great to cAll back quickly and had great customer service. Our only negative was the boats that were pulling wakeboarders, they got to close to the paddle boarders and kayakers and caused large waves and choppy water,

The kayaking was very relaxing out on Grapevine Lake! Lonestar Adventure Sports worked with us because it ended up raining the day and time we had booked for. We ended up changing times and they made the process very easy! Highly recommend them for any kayak needs!

We had a great time Kayaking! Cameron Campbell was kind, gave us great instructions as it was my friend first time, and was enthusiastic about his job. An absolute pleasure. We along with friends will be back. We forgot to take a pic as it ended up getting hot, closer to the 102...back to the ac....lol.

Do you have paddle boards if so what's the rental price

Paddleboard Rentals are $25 for the first hour, then $15 per hour for any additional hour(s). All gear is included. Life Jacket, Paddleboard, Paddle and leash. Complimentary paddling lesson is included upon request.
