I've never been disappointed about any performance. Wonderfully talented performers who obviously enjoy performing and making their audiences happy. This is a must see for visitors and local residents. The shows are very well priced so everyone can attend. Good, clean entertainment for the whole family.

It is the Winter Party! An extraordinary show with music that will keep you Rockin' and Rollin' from beginning to end. They look, move, play and sound exactly like you expect and the band is superb. If you remember and love the essence of Rock and Roll you will have a wonderful experience at this show. So comb back your DA's and keep it cool jewel....You'll have it made in the shade. Bobby socks and Rah Rah's are optional!

When you arrive 40 minutes early to view an opening movie, you would expect to have popcorn popped and plenty of young teenagers to help you get your refreshments before the movie starts. It was an awful shame to see the manager standing by not even offering a helping hand with a 4 lines out the door. Thanks for making me late to my movie.......as well as everyone else.

Great theater for a small town. Musicals, comedy, drama - Granbury Theater Company does it all. This is a most enjoyable, entertaining and affordable way to spend an evening. Just a few of this year's productions included Godspell, 1776, A Streetcar Named Desire, Legally Blonde and next, It's A Wonderful Life.

"Driving Mrs. Daisy" was the second show my husband and I saw in Granbury. The show was well put together and well acted. I had an easy time getting tickets online and were available at will call at a very reasonable price. The shows are put on at the Granbury Opera Hall on the square in Granbury. Its a beautiful building that has been refurbished and there is not a bad seat in the house. They offer matinees as well as, evening weekend performances. A great cultural treat in a small town... a certain must see and do!!!

My husband and I were visiting Granbury and weren't sure what to do. We're not big theater people, but it was supposed to rain, so we bought tickets at the last minute. We both absolutely loved the performance! We saw Lucky Stiff, which is a musical comedy. The acting and singing was as good or better than I've seen at theaters in Dallas, despite it being a very small community theater. The seats weren't so comfortable, but it was really entertaining enough that I didn't mind. I would definitely recommend this, even if it's not something you're usually into.

I will start with this is not some large scale broadway show. It is small time theatre, and I feel at its best. The actors and actresses were top notch and well trained. We had an amazing time, and enjoyed the small setting.

I have seen several plays and musicals at the Granbury Opera House. The Granbury Theatre Company puts on a WONDERFUL show. It's not small town civic theater if that's what you're thinking. These are full blown stage shows with awesome stage sets, costumes, music, and more! They do a mix of older and modern plays and musicals with a downscale sized cast, but they amaze me with how they find talent every time. This season's (2019) offerings include Driving Miss Daisy, Mamma Mia, Addams Family, Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Forever Plaid, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, Grease, etc. The ticket prices are very reasonable (usually around $35 each) which is a steal compared to some of the bigger theater company productions such as Broadway Across America. The old saying you get what you pay for does not apply here, you get so much more than what you pay for. Take a chance, buy a ticket. You won't regret it. The cast is always waiting outside at the end of the show, such a great touch. GREAT JOB Granbury Theatre Company!

It depends on the show. We have been to some that are under 2 hours if there is no intermission. Usually with intermission plan on 3 hours to be on the safe side.
My husband has purchased tickets online for the Broadway on the Brazos 6-Event Pass. How do we choose the seats to the performances we want to see? I understand that we pick up our tickets at Will Call, but we would like to choose our seats. Thank you.

Go to GTC's website and follow directions. You can pick your seats for each show. You can pick any performance, any seat, any time. You can pick the same seat for the second Friday or any combination. You can print out the tickets and bypass the will call line or you can post the tickets to your smart phone and go paperless. Once you are aware of the theaters lay out. you can go directly to your seats. Lower numbered seats are on the right side of the theater [as is the men's restroom], higher numbered seats are on the left side of the theater [as is the ladies' restroom and concessions=drinks]. Screw capped bottled drinks are allowed in the theater. Other drinks are to be consumed in the lobby.
