Recently, we had a girls trip with 5 going. We had ordered our tickets in advance to see Singing in the Rain. We had heard that the opera house had been redone. It was smaller than I had expected, but that just added to the charm of it. The sound was great and the seating was comfortable. We all loved... More

However, the word is getting out. Always expect the best in performances. Small theater. Every seat is a good one. Get your reservations early...many times groups will book several seats for a show. There is an elevator for balcony seating. Soft drinks served and allowed in the theater. Quality performances make every show a memorable experience. We try to catch... More

Watched the classis "Singing in The Rain" with my lovely wife and the performance was unbelieavable; the leading lady had a voice to die for and the entire cast was truly outstanding; however the one item that blew us away was the rain; YES they made it rain INSIDE!!! on the stage; I mean wow!!!

We drove through Granbury while traveling in Texas. We stopped at the Opera House because my wife had lived in Granbury as a child and had performed in a number of musicals. It was a second home to her and was an important part of her life. We stopped by around 10:30 AM and asked if we could see the... More

The place looks great it takes you back in time. Enjoyed the play the actors did a fantastic performance. I was entertained from start to finish. I like they had it raining on stage for singing in the rain performance.

This was a sweet community theater. We saw singin in the rain. It was pretty good! Lina and Cosmo were the break out stars of the night. There was a reception upstairs for every one with the cutest decorations! Oh my they did a great job! And they offered a discount since my husband served in the navy.

Anyone visiting Granbury, does not want to miss the Granbury Opera House. Good quality acting and singing and very reasonable prices. This is one of Granbury's highlight's that always attracts visitors whether on a first visit or many visits. Great shows!!

The Granbury Opera House is not an opera house . It was recently restored and is a beautiful stage for artists, plays and musicals. It was ignored for many years, but now has a facelift that has astonished many. My favorite singer ever, and I'm not young, is Gary Morris: ''Second Hand Heart'', ''La Miserables''-''Bring Him Home''. He made ''Wind... More

The renovations to the theater were very nice and upscale for a small Texas Town with a grand vision. Talent for the theater production of "The Marvelous Wonderettes" was top notch. Their production schedule is wholesome FAMILY entertainment, suitable for all ages. Try to attend the "first night" social prior to the show, to meet the local talent!
