This brewery is very nice. Has great outdoor space for all people, kid , dog and other people friendly😀. Brews are good too but of course it’s subjective to my own like. Put this on your brewery tour list. There was a live band when I was there.

Enjoy!!!

A nice place just to sit and relax with family, friends or a spouse. Many places to sit and enjoy beer in an outdoor setting. I sampled several beers but fell in love with the Sweet Potato Pecan Scottish Ale. There are several tables to sit at, a walking trail, and a play area for the younger kids. We were lucky enough to enjoy the live music of the Shiner Hobo Band while we were there. I highly recommend a visit to this brewery!

We had such a relaxed time. Really good beer, really friendly people and the food truxcts were a great added touch. We have enver been here, and just popped in. We ended up staying for hours. Kids, dog, food, beer and good company...who could ask for more. The fire pit was was warm and welcoming. The music was very good. I did not get the name of the man and woman duo, but they were very good. Check this place out. It is unique and fun! We intend on taking out son and his family soon!

Made a trip Feb.6 2021.The gates were locked upon arriving at the brewery. I called the number provided and got an answering machine. I don't think this place has been open for a while. I would suggest calling before making the drive. This rating is based solely on it being closed and not having an updated schedule. Not on the quality of the brewery.

Decided to try this place, as we enjoy trying out various craft brewers. We weren't sure if they would be open, as their calendar and website aren't in agreement on open hours. Called before leaving Victoria and the voice message indicated that they were open on Sunday from 12-6. We drove over to Goliad, only to find the front gate to be closed. Very disappointed. Based on the prior reviews, and some internet information, we are not sure that this place is even open anymore.

I think would have really liked the brewery if it were actually open. We read and were told it was open on Friday nights. We went out to enjoy the food trucks and try out their beers. No food, no tours and only 3 people there. The staff was very nice and talked up the beers. Enjoyed the taste jus wanted more of the experience.

Having toured a good variety of breweries from gigantic to smaller than an economy apartment, we found Goliad Brewing to be "just right." I spotted the sign while just driving around looking for something to do and we decided to see what they had to offer. First thing's first: The beers were all well crafted and unique. The property, while a work in progress, was full of fun surprises. Upon filling our glasses with a refreshing sample of brew, we jumped right into the tour of the facility, sipping all the way. That was really quite nice, as most places require you stay in a designated area while you enjoy their beer. The actual brewing facility is simple, elegant and quite intimate. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgable. A quick refill of our collectible Goliad Brewing pint glasses and we were off to explore the onsite nature trail. Yes, a nature trail on the brewery grounds, a brilliant concept! We delighted in finding a group of whitetail deer grazing along the trail. My wife was giddy (not just from the beer). The whole beer garden area is very nice, sprawling with plenty of shade and places to sit while listening to a live music performance from the stage that's still being built. There's also a Disc Golf course on a portion of the expansive property, should you be so inclined. It is a great place to enjoy a Saturday afternoon with the whole family.

Dear Shiner,
There may not be a new sheriff in town, but I definitely think there's a new deputy!

But seriously, if you've not had a chance to sample the Goliad Brewing Company's tasty brews, then you're missing out! They've got some real yumminess flowing from their taps, and their setup on the grounds of their brewery is a fabulous way to spend an afternoon/evening. They've got a tent set up and a few food trucks and a jungle gym for the kids, so it's pretty much a playground for all ages!

They have several different ways to partake in the brews. We opted for the pint glass + 3 tickets. Before making our selections, we got a little taste of them all. I opted for the Doppel Bock (a spring seasonal), the Watermelon Gose (a summer seasonal) and the Golden Ale. (Insert smiley face emoji with heart eyes here.) We sat at the picnic tables under the trees in the breeze and drank our beers while the kids played. It was a fantastic evening. Now I'm dying to go back when the Oktoberfest comes out!

Sadly, we did miss the last tour of the day, but bow we have a chance to go back! Everyone was so friendly that we are looking forward to it!

Had a fabulous time on a beautiful day with great beer and the staff was very friendly but needed more help! Only one major complaint is the method to purchase and get beer poured is awkward and disorganized with only one person taking money and one person pouring. On a busy Saturday afternoon, that’s just not really acceptable especially with two guys with official brewery shirts standing around watching the chaos. Also being served in a 2018 glass sponsored by Cricket, rather than a Goliad brewing company glass, was later switched to a souvenir glass but should’ve never happened in the first place. Overall, nice day but attention to details would be greatly appreciated.
