Small park with historical buildings. Some buildings have plaques detailing their history. Nice children's playground and public restrooms. Walking trail along the river connects over a spillway to the Big Rocks park. Beautiful walk and a nice place to picnic.

Not only is it a pretty park, but Glen Rose has also done a good job of erecting historical structures in the park and providing informational resources regarding their respective histories. My father and I had a really fun time reading all the plaques in...More

have a look at many historic buildings including homes and a school in this lovely park. Then let the children play on the equipment and take a walk beside the river.

Lots of folks swim and sit in this area full of big boulders and water slide down the side of a small dam. People were friendly and, although we rode our bikes from the park to the big rocks, we actually could have walked instead....More

What a super cool new playground for the kids! There were lovely views of the river, but we couldn't do the riverwalk since part of the ramp had collapsed, they had it fenced off. Very cool historic buildings on-site!

The park sits right along the river. You can park here and walk the length of the river walk. There are several restored frontier buildings in the park that are beautiful. The park is small but well maintained and has bathrooms and a playground.

This park is always clean and had awesome playground equipment for the kids. There is a giant covered Pavillion with many picnic tables. There is also a trail you can walk that takes you on a scenic walk alongside the river and leads all the...More
