I liked downtown Glen Rose for all of the historical buildings. Shopping however as a bit slim but I can see this is a place that will be growing in the future.

Glen Rose is full of period history, which I enjoy, and also has a couple of nice places to eat. We enjoyed walking around town and through the park and the historic buildings in the park. We will be back.

It's easy to miss Glen Rose's historic district because it's off the beaten path. That being said, there are some cute shops and restaurants on or within a block of The Square (around the courthouse). Plenty of free parking. Give it a look.

Had a great time walking around downtown Glen Rose. Cute little shops very reasonably priced. Lots of local history. And Mr. pot man!
