I really enjoyed these two courses. Open course, not surrounded by houses! On a recent weekend, the course was not crowded, and is in great winter condition. The links course was straightforward, and there are only a couple shots that put you in danger of loosing a ball. The lakes course has water in play on a few holes, but... More

Heading back from playing at Horseshoe Bay. Stopped at this Glen Rose course. Great driving range, friendly staff and a very playable Lakes course. Forgiving fairways with just enough trouble. Pace of play was excellent.

Two great courses in great shape. Golf course only problem was sand traps which needs some work. Challenging and entertaining. Greens are fast to medium and you need to read the green carefully before each putt. Links course I prefer since its more open and allows for more errant drives. Lakes course requires good course management in order to have... More

Course is really nice. 36 holes with open fairways and very good greens. Price is very fair. Wish my game was as good as the course.

This golf layout features two 18 hole courses plus driving range, putting greens, sand traps and a decent pro shop. It is semi private, not private. It is reasonably priced, gets busy on weekends but is beautifully maintained. It's hard to get a bad lie or miss a fairway and greens are large although speedy. I play several courses in... More

Two distinctly different layouts at Squaw Valley. One a traditional layout through the trees and lakes and streams. The other a links style with lots of undulation, and massive sloping greens. Both courses in great early spring shape. Would not like to walk either course on a regular basis. The price for green fee and cart were reasonable. Food was... More

We played the Lakes course yesterday. It's a well designed course that's in bad shape. Many fairways and some greens weedy. No sand in the sand traps, just pebbles. Dirty restrooms on the course, the odor knocks your socks off. No real bag drop, grab a golf cart if you can. Range balls a joke. People in the pro shop... More

Played the Links course. It looks like a links style course minus the presence of a large body of water. The mounds and rolling terrain puts a premium on hitting the fairway otherwise you will have a number of awkward stances on your second shot. Greens were receptive to good shots and the undulations made reading them challenging. Can't wait... More

A neighbor heard about the courses at Squaw Valley and 4 couples made the short trek up from Georgetown. Two great courses in fabulous shape. The greens on the links are a little tricked up with some pin locations on the edges of step ridges but it made you think. I am sure we will be back and the ladies... More
