The town square takes you back 100 years to when life was simpler. There is a courthouse in the center, lots of cute shops including one that only features local artisans over 50. The festivals are fun as well.

Went they for a tour. It was interesting for the history of the court house. The building is in fairly good shape for the how old it is.

A lovely quaint place to taste wine, coffee and to eat delicious food and to see wonderful life productions at the Palace Theater. And, during the Christmas season is probably the most beautifully lighted square in Texas!

Yes basically. I see folks with poochies on the square rather often, and Antiques and Artisans have a water dish outside the door near the firestairs.
