The cast really shines in this 70s themed musical comedy. I was laughing out loud and singing along. Their enthusiasm and talent made it a joy to watch.

Visited the theatre for their production of " Dog Sees God." I purchased tickets online a week before our visit. The synopsis of the show said that it was based on the Peanuts cartoon characters. Expecting a PG rated comedy, I was shocked with the...More

Just saw this play and was disappointed. First the director came out and told the audience to laugh even if we have to fake it. They used live music which was wonderful but it drowned out the actors speaking and singing. They should have had...More

The ETC Theater is a gem on Galveston Island. Near downtown across from the Tremont Hotel on Mechanic, ETC presents comedies and musicals almost exclusively, and always has live music! I've only lived here 3 years but have attended every show at least once over...More

My daughter bought tickets to this intimate little theater for Mothers Day and it may have been the best gift she ever gave me. The play was a Neil Simon, "I ought to be in Pictures" and was extremely good. There were only three cast...More

Whenever we visit Galveston and we know the Island Etc has a new play,we attend. Yes, many of the players are amateurs. That only means they don't get paid much or anything. It has nothing to do with the talent which is consistently excellent. The...More

It is a nice little local theater. The house is not large and the setting is quite intimate. The stage is not huge but there is a lot done with what they do have.

Just went to an extremely funny musical here. If the quality of talent is always this high and you like the theater, don't miss going here. The theater was tiny and made you feel more in touch with the whole experience. Just loved it. One...More
