If you’re a history buff, this is a great tour for making you want to learn more about the unique history of Galveston. If not, it’s a perfect overview so you’ll know just a little more about the city. I recommend it either way! I had a delightful time with George and Brenda.

The Galveston Historical Tour with George Lee was a wonderful start to our Texas Road trip! Five senior gals in search of bluebonnets decided to overnight in Galveston as a start to our adventure! George and Brenda (sweet wife and general manager) were SO Cooperative in working around our schedule! They even split the two parts of the tour into an evening and next morning! Giving us something to do the evening we got there and got us off to a great start the next morning. He was a plethora of knowledge about the history of Galveston. Returned to his home time and obviously enjoyed what he was doing! Can’t imagine doing Galveston without this great tour!

Ladies, it was definitely great and memorable. I'm so glad you came, and ya'll were the first two-parter I've done! If you come back this way, by all means stop in. G. Lee

My sister and I were on a road trip with 2 nights in Galveston as a part of the trip. Looking through all the possible things to do - I was intrigued by the information about the Galveston History Tour Guide. I contacted Mr. Lee and was impressed with how helpful and responsive he was to my questions and working with our schedule. We were looking for a tour that was in the 2 hour range and delighted with this one. On our tour day, the projector was not working, so George gave us an extra special presentation and a copy of the DVD to watch later. The tour around town in his convertible was excellent. George is a true "character" and he presents his information and stories with great energy. He holds your attention with his knowledge and personality. I highly recommend his tour - it is unique, fun, and not to be missed! I would do it again!

I couldn't have written it better myself! Thank you. We replaced the blown projector with a big screen TV which is much better and easier to use. Again, thank you for your kind words. G. Lee

Lee knows his history. His family has been there for generations, and he was a plethora of interesting information. He took time to tell amazing stories, answer questions and show me the awesome houses and landmarks of the city. He gave me additional places to visit in town. Enough that because I didn't have time in July, I will be going back when it cools off, maybe a girls weekend in November or December. He's not trying to make money, he wants people to understand his home city. And yes, I will drop in and say hello at his art gallery when I go.

The information was great. The first part starts in art gallery with the show made for the History Channel. The guide had so much knowledge but it could have been a little shorter. It was easy to learn our way around Galveston after this. Glad we did the tour first.
