We stopped in thinking it was a little gift shop, and to our surprise it has a haunted house, a unsettlingly realistic coffin ride and a pirate ship to walk through. My group chose the haunted house. It starts with a movie about the history of the building from the great hurricane, and its purpose in the recovery. After the video, you walk in and start the haunt. There were 4 of us, two of the teens had never been to a proper haunted house before- so this was absolutely perfect! The decorations were a mix of scares and antiques and we did jump and scream a few times. The length of the haunt was maybe 10-15 mins? We couldn’t tell, we were caught up in it. The coffin ride, two of us braved it and it was a fairly realistic simulation of being carried in a coffin and buried. You can even faintly smell dirt and flowers towards the end. It was just a couple minutes, but long enough to get your pulse racing and almost panic. This was a gem of a break from a hot walk around the square and the kids chatted about how they weren’t scared, and accused each other of being startled. We are glad we stopped in.

Absolutely rubbish. The age limit is 12. That should be the recommended upper age limit. There is nothing remotely scary. Especially when forced to go round in a group of 9, mostly unmasked people. The actor (there is one only) is fairly dramatic, but that's it. He plays one part and if he does work any props, they were lost on us as we were trailing at the back. $10 PLUS tax is a complete rip off. Avoid. You can give yourself a bigger scare looking in the mirror.

We randomly stopped by at the end of our evening shopping on the strand and it was the highlight of our night. Not your traditional haunted house but lots of screams and excitement. It definitely gave us a thrill. The main character was such a great actor.

My teenagers and I did their pirate museum tour and haunted manor and had a great time. Two young ladies provided great entertainment to both exhibits and we were impressed. Fun for teenagers!

It’s only a $10 event, add on $3 for the coffin ride. I was scared, it was fun. They have a gift shop. Pirate event was informative.
