The boat tour was excellent! The captain was so knowledgeable about the Marine life and the sites surrounding it. Very fun and can't wait to do the adult sunset tours without the kiddos too!

Boat tour was wonderful, tour guide extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Tour an 1877 ship, The "Elissa", very interesting and amazing. Will definitely return with our Grandchildren.

Joseph Pellerin is a wonderful tour guide for an overview of Galveston. His van was very comfortable and he helped both me and my husband who both have mobility issues into and out of the van with the help of a footstool. We have been to Galveston many times, but this time I wanted an excursion that was easily doable with our mobility issues and this one was perfect. Along with the historical information, we were shown Broadway mansions, churches, Victorian homes, the harbor, homes with tree sculptures, and downtown historical buildings, shops, and restaurants. We took a lot of photos from the windows, but they did not turn out that well from a moving van. Joseph was also very good at answering our specific questions. He was always patient and polite. If you are interested in sites and history of Galveston, I highly recommend that you take this tour which leaves from the visitor center behind Aston Villa.…

We went and enjoyed the tour overall. The guide narrated so much throughout the tour that I don't think we missed much. He emphasized a little of the history of leading Galveston families, but I desired more background info. He showed us numerous tree sculptures, and we also were treated to great info about local retail establishments (which was nice since we went to the Pier 21 theatre and our lunch place). There were only 4 of us on the tour, and that, I think, was a huge plus. I would've liked to go slower/stop and see the places as he spoke (but I understand that it would've been difficult, at best, to do this due to traffic, construction, etc). The tour leaves from the visitor's center, and it is well worth the time.…
