We loved our time in Galveston and enjoyed everything except this bus tour. We took an afternoon tour to see some sights and learn a little bit about the area. We thought it would be a nice break to sit comfortably in an air conditioned...More

We ve been to Galveston many many times and this is the first time we’ve done this tour. We didn’t realize the very rich and interesting history of the island. It was well with the $12 we paid for it!

We have been on this tour before. Last time we rode it, it was a 12 passenger golf cart. That was so awesome! You got up close and personal with the attractions ! You could easily take awesome pictures and ask questions. The tour guide...More

To make a really long story really short, the electric shuttle was not a golf cart for a variety of reasons, therefore, I couldn't get a golf cart permit, and since it didn't have a VIN, I couldn't register it as a motor vehicle. With...More

The driver was very informative about the area. He knows about where to visit while on the island. Very helpful about where to eat, drink, sightsee and shop. He also knows so much history it really is amazing. The architecture is something to see. Also telling...More

Our driver took over the prescribed route. You can see the architectural significance for yourself. The driver had what seemed to be a "canned' pitch. But when I asked questions, he didn't seem to be that knowledgable of the history behind the buildings or other...More

Great tour of historic Galveston! You meet at the information centre. The guide is so good. We learned so much. We were on road trip so this was a perfect way to spend an hour learning about the city. We would never have seen so...More

Chris, our driver, was prompt with the van for pickup and has a easy way of story-telling about the various points of interest around Galveston. Better than trying to do it yourself and a good value for the hour plus tour.

My mother, sister, and I all agreed that the Galveston Historic Tour was probably the best thing we did during our four days in Galveston. Although I have read several of the books about Galveston, I learned some new things. I had never really paid...More

The advertised “electric shuttle” turned out to be a van, from which you can only see outside the window next to you. If the “historic sight” is on the other side of the van, forget it. Although there is “live narration,” the driver goes so...More

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, the city shut down the electric shuttle. Every thing is updated i.e. website, social media, etc. New rack cards have been ordered but not yet arrived. Never be afraid to ask the driver to slow down. I tell people...More
