Given that this shop (very large space) is tied into the Historical Galveston non-profit, you would expect it to have far more interesting and exciting salvaged pieces from such a historical town. The houses in the city are CONSTANTLY being refurbished or repurposed! Sadly, that is not the case unless you are in need of: Victorian cottage doors, office doors which are very large and wonderful, but heavy--good prices, mismatched window frames, scraps of un matched lumber, and rusty window weights. There are some Made in China "architectural pieces", some beat up lights that may be of interest, and some bathroom fixtures in need of work. There were a couple of big pieces (very nice oak cabinets) that were in the store, but were marked "sold."

The staff is limited to one person who is nice, but not very helpful. The space has an interesting reconstruction of a Victorian Cottage, but they have done very little with it. There is some very bad art on display, but not much more.....

In the past, we have found a piece of interest here and bought it, but I see few sales in the future for this effort if the merchandise does not greatly improve. There are a number of interesting antique stores in the city, I suggest you try them first.

The staff is some of the most rude, disrespectful people that I have ever dealt with. It is shocking the way they treat customers. I can promise you that the moment the store opens, and if you call them they will tell you that they’re too busy to talk to you and even hang up on you. They haven’t quite figured out how to use the hole button but since they pretend to sell items and pretend to talk to their imaginary dealers I am quite sure that they are pretending that they’re busy too…They absolutely will not return phone calls and neither will the owner of the store. The owner of the store actually pretends to check with her dealer when in fact, she actually is the owner of all of the space 😆….. they’re definitely some of the most immature clowns you will ever come across and do yourself a favor and price shop eBay and Etsy before going there! Their items are also very overpriced, they refuse to ship, or even take off $50 on a $600 item. The owner actually admitted to pricing items in her store that she doesn’t want to sell so that’s why they have been treating me so bad. Ridiculous behavior for a business to engage in. These people will make it so difficult to buy anything from them I can promise you that. If you want you can email me and I can tell you more who knows what else they have done to people, their business practices def give me scammy vibes email me at

A spur of the moment trip to Galveston to enjoy lunch and quick trip to the local Antique Warehouse turned into a truly, fun and enlightening afternoon! I am not sure if there is a teenager out there who would have a good time antique shopping with his parents, none the less, but ours did! Thank you to Scotty for your expertise and engaging our son into conversations about antiques, but especially life! So fun and a pleasure to have met you - and we ended up with the antique doors we came for! Project to be posted when completed!

There is a lot of "stuff" to pick through here. Some good, some bad, some old, some new, and some just plain junk. The ratio is not 20% of each--more like 2, 20, 30, 10, and 38 If you know what you are doing, this is a great place to find the "hard to find" item you can't find in your home town. We were very happy to get what we wanted at a decent price.

Warning, there are some very improperly priced items here! I think the pricing policy is to add more to items that with have broad appeal or are "eye catching."

All that being said, this is a fun little place to visit and we will be back. Make certain you have on your "grubbies" because this is a messy place!

The "brothel history/stories" are also a drawing card for this place. Keep that in mind if you have young kids--avoid going up the stairs!

Thee is free parking right next to the property. There is a Farmer's Market--as such--on the weekends next to it. If you go, get there early, because they do sell out of items fast.

When visiting Galveston, you have to check out the Antique Warehouse. They have all kinds of antiques, and the city's largest selection of reclaimed lumber and moldings for restoration or putting together an antique look. Scotty, the Owner is very cordial and most helpful in helping you find exactly what you are looking for. The warehouse is situated in a historical old brothel, and provides a glimpse of another side of Galveston upstairs. You have to check it out!

If you can't find it here, it may not exist! Scott is so helpful as well having a huge selection of "just about everything". He and his family are a real asset to Galveston.
One can't forget the beautiful furniture he builds from re-claimed wood, custom orders too! My only complaint is when dear husband heads over there, returning hours later, with more stuff. We don't need anymore stuff!!!

This is not an "antique store" in the traditional sense. While they have a lot of antiques, this place is really about architectural pieces and a such is this is the place to come. They literally have a warehouse full of salvaged items from old houses and buildings... some things I had never seen before. If you come, allow a lot of time to check out all that they have.... from huge pieces to many smalls of every kind. Unfortunately, many of the items are not priced so you have to find the attendant and inquire as to what items cost. I guess with a place and inventory this large pricing every item would be impossible. At any rate, if you're into this kind of place, or looking for a specific architectural piece, don't miss the Antique Warehouse. It's a fun and interesting spot in Galveston. Incidentally, note they don't open until 11AM on Thus thru Sat and 12 Noon on Sunday.

This place has everything. If you are restoring a home, it has all the fixins. Old hinges, faucets, windows, sinks, and everything else. It also has some great antiques, nik naks, paintings, old clothes, old toys, beach themed items. Not to mention just walking through the rooms of the old Oleander hotel was amazing. The people were very friendly and it was a treat to see.

We stop by this place to check out the hardware, chandlier crystals, architectural pieces, etc. This last time, we went upstairs and looked through each room. Wow, have been going to this place for years and haven't explored upstairs..wow..just amazing, if you love antiques you will appreciate the variety of the collection and the history of the building and the items..and it you find an item without a price, just ask..you might be surprised

We were in Galveston on a Tuesday for a visit and to do some antiquing. It is not the best day of the week as most shops focus their opening hours around the weekend. We walked up and tried the door and it was locked. As we walked away, Scotty knocked on the window and told us to come around to the side door. He invited us in as he was there working on some things. We enjoyed looking at everything and found an old crock we couldn't live without. He spent some time telling us about some of his woodworking projects. Well worth the trip.
