We did not stay for the entire tour. We left after 45 minutes. Dash Beardsley is a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. But we were at the initial meeting place for over 40 minutes before the tour even moved on to the first stop. The first 40 minutes Mr. Beardsleyou will regale you with some interesting history about the discovery... More

We had wanted to do this tour for several years and finally able to fit it into our trip. We had a great time and learned a lot about Galveston history. We are going to try to another tour.

Katy, our guide, did a wonderful job conducting the tour. She had to holler over the carnival-like atmosphere of the Strand on a Saturday night competing with outdoor DJ/karaoke cranked up loud and bands blaring out the open doors of bars. Great fun party atmosphere and loud! Katy didn't miss a beat. Interesting stories with gory details that gave me... More

We took a ghost tour and though we saw nor felt no spooks, or haunts, we did learn a great deal about the history of The Strand Area. The guide was informative and tried to keep everyone entertained.

The hostess did a great job providing an historical context to the haunted buildings in the Strand area of Galveston. She provided photos of sitings and engaging stories. We did not go into any buildings as we have done on other ghost tours, but every community handles risk to the public on private property differently. I can respect that. The... More

We had a very informative hostess. She told about the history of Galveston and its peoples. Also, about the characters and their stories. I was able to talk to her after the tour about specific things. I appreciate the tour very much and will tell others to take the tour as well.

The tour guide rushed through the stories, stumbled over her words and moved too quickly to the next story without giving a proper ending. When she showed pictures she moved through it so quickly I wasn't able to see.

We went on the historical ghost tour. We've been on ghost tours before in different cities, and this one was lacking. There was a lot of history, which was fine. The history helps to tell the ghost stories. It was how the history and ghost stories were told. Everything was disjointed and didn't give a complete picture. Even the most... More

Loved every bit of the tour. Every pic has something unexplained in it! Lots of history of the island that I had never heard before.
