Didn't expect much from it, but it was well worth the money. Pretty neat walking around an old drilling platform and looking at the old equipment.

I think it’s the only place in the world to see an offshore drilling rig. My husband is a navy lover guy, and he was really looking forward to seeing this museum. It was a rainy day but it didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves....More

Like many of the things we do on vacation, we learned about something that important to our society. The short film was really good and it helped us to know what we were looking at as we toured this attraction.

The museum did a good job of explaining oil creation, exploration and drilling/supply. It's something I'd never thought much about. Who knew there were so many types of oil rigs? There were lots of scale models and good graphics and examples of e.g. actual drill heads....More

Came here as part of a rig course. The Ocean Star provided an in-depth knowledge of things we had been learning about. Would recommend visiting to back up knowledge and to view different parts of rig equipment in life form.
