We brought our grandson to the beach. He and his dad had a great time in the water while Grandpa and I sat in the rented chairs under the wonderful umbrella. Showers were all around us but it never rained. We had a great time....More

The beach, the pier, restaurants, shops, people watching...the Seawall is full of action! Parking is a little sketchy at times but it’s doable with some patience. Touristy, yes but that’s to be expected, right?

I haven’t been here for a few years but it’s really gotten a facelift! Love the new signs telling you what area you are in. Parking now is for fee but only $1/hour and very easy with the web payment system.

Yes it is a good beach for families. With a very gradual decline, most of the time the water is shallow a good distance from the beach. Yes you can bring your own umbrellas and chairs.
