This beach was very nice, always clean and the sunsets were beautiful. One could walk forever, enjoy the fishing piers, go shelling, check out the paintings on the Seawall or just sit and relax - watching the waves come up shore. Be sure to visit...More

We were here in January so it wasn't very crowded and we loved that the sand was so firm that you could walk for miles. It was clean and a nice view of the gulf. There are even public restrooms along the way and benches...More

A neat spot, worth checking out and letting the kids play on the beach. We will certainly come back.

We drove and walk parts of the wall. After watching the movie of the history of the 1900 storm we wanted to take it all in. The engineering behind this is amazing.

There was so much to see. The beach was covered in gorgeous shells (get there early). There are several gift shops and local businesses to browse. Also, with so many restaurants there is something for everyone.

This is a seawall. There are shops and hotels on the street side and an ocean on the other side. I love love love the ocean and sand. This is not the best beach, but in my world, any beach is a good beach.

We walked on the beach 6 days and it was fun. We enjoyed looking at the Seawall from the penthouse condo on the 16th floor of the wonderful SAN LUIS RESORT.

I grew up in Seattle where swimming in ocean waters was a cold experience 365 days a year. It was about 5 pm when we stopped at the sea wall. I was not too keen on wading in the water but the little grandchildren wanted...More

Walked with family, they got to experience another type of beach even did not allow to swim. Parking next to the side walk is tricky but cheap.

Yes it is a good beach for families. With a very gradual decline, most of the time the water is shallow a good distance from the beach. Yes you can bring your own umbrellas and chairs.
