The Tropical Jungle Exibit is very good.

The aquarium was closed but we visited the tropical jungle pyramid. It was very enjoyable. They even have a corpse flower there!!!!!! Admission is a little pricey, however.

Moody Gardens is perhaps the biggest attraction in Galveston, (along with Pleasure Pear, The Strand and the Sea Wall). It is certainly an expensive one. The place has a hotel, a convention center and a pseudo-amusement park that contains exhibits inside pyramids, a restaurant and a beach-theme water-park-pool area sort of place. Upon arrival you notice that the grounds are... More

We went here on rainy day. The aquarium is closed due to remodeling which we did know but thought the rainforest would be a fun alternative. While I thought the attraction was nice, many of the animals you are told you will see were not "out". We never saw the Ocelot, the monkeys or the Komodo dragon. Seeing the animals... More

Let's start with the parking...it's a nightmare! I was not that impressed with the rain forest pyramid and the aquarium was average at best. I would think as many tourists visit each season, they would update there facilities and exhibits more often. Also, I feel like the pricing is a little high for what you get. It's not a bad... More

We came to Galveston,Tx and unfortunately it stormed our second day so we needed some indoor activities. This one did not disappoint. There are several pyramids here. One houses the aquarium ( closed till May 2017) for renovation. The other is the Rainforest pyramid. This one houses tons of exotic animals. Tons of beautiful birds flying around, exotic monkeys running... More

This was not an inexpensive venture for a large family. There wasn't much to see for the high price tag and most of it looked run down and a little tired. Unless you are coming for the Christmas lights, this is a landmark to be admired from afar.

What a delightful Sunday afternoon to spend at Moody Gardens with my son! We feasted at the restaurant buffet on Seafood Pasta, Baked chicken followed by Chicken Tenders, Salads, Variety of Breads, to name a few from the huge buffet list. In addition, there were various assortments of fresh fruit and cheeses. Found quite unique, a chef with table setup... More

We had a rainy day in Galveston and decided to go here. We watched one of the 3D shows, it was just ok. We also paid to tour the rainforest. My sons likes seeing the animals so it was good for him, I was more concerned with not getting pooped on by the birds. Definitely a rainy day activity.

We spent the night here pre cruise. From the time we hit the curb until the time we checked out everyone was so friendly, helpful, and polite! It was wonderful after getting up at 2 am and flying from the north. The pool bar staff was very friendly. The food in the restaurant was resort priced fairly and the service... More
