Unique plants and birds

The rainforest is very interesting. We saw plants and birds we had not seen anywhere else. The butterflies are plentiful and not afraid of people. Definitely would see again

I was so amazed by the number of penguins and their attendants as to how well behaved they were and the patience they had with them. I collect penguins so I spent my whole time there at their exhibit I think. It was great!

Since our first few days in Galveston were cloudy and grey, we checked out Moody gardens rainforest and 3 d theater. Both were quite nice. Unfortunately the aquarium was closed for renovation. All staff we encountered were extremely friendly.

Moody Gardens is one of the best hotel we have had. The amenities were great. It even had a amusement park that equipped with things for the whole family kids in particular. Thanks for such a wonderful location and fun place.

So much to see and do. We always prefer off season because you can move through the crowds easier but year round this is an awesome stop. Bring your wallet and be prepared to spend money. Tons of fun.

I can see that this would be fun during the day, but don't do an overnight. We did an overnight in the Rain forest Pyramid area. The number one complaint is that the main animals such as the ocelots and the otters (which have a huge area set up for them) are not available till after you have to leave... More

We spent our Anniversary weekend at Moody Gardens and loved it. Great hotel accommodations and amenities, as well as lots of fun and entertaining attractions. If you are close to the area I recommend a yearly pass as you more than get your money's worth and will definitely need more than a day to enjoy Moody Gardens to the fullest... More

Only stopped here late for drinks. We were hoping to find dancing and great music. No dancing. Techno music playing. Prices were reasonable for drinks. Service was great.

Moody Gardens is a great place to visit, you will see beautiful sculptures. There is also an arboretum you can walk through and beautiful places to take photos. There is also real action movies for the entire family.
