I was at Moody Gardens this past week with my companies leadership conference! I talked to Andrea Juarez and she was SO sweet! She told me about all of the attractions that Moody Gardens had to offer! She even told me about some cool things to do in Galveston! I enjoyed my time here and Andrea was so nice and helpful to me!

HORRIBLE AQUARIUM
Jun 2021
I love aquariums. Sea World? It's ok. I love Penguins. Dallas? It's ok. Monterey Bay? Best ever. So, my husband tells me there are penguins, and RIVER OTTERS at the Moody aquarium. Wrong. Just wrong. The Penguin exhibit was closed. I doubt there have ever been otters. There were plenty of the fake reef exhibits with fish and small sharks. There were a few seals. There were about twenty exhibits of Moon Jellyfish. They just all had different colors projected so they looked different. If you are crazy about moon jellyfish...this is your place. No Seahorses, nothing you can't see at say...Sea World. No, I didn't want to touch sting rays. Everybody has that exhibit. That is how my energetic six year old found out they were in salt water. He stuck his hand in and licked it and proceeded to tell me, "It's salty!". He has played with Dolphins and we had dinner with Shamu. (don't do this. Trust me.). But the Moody was deserted, had nothing to see and was $72.00 for TWO PEOPLE.

Was as good an experience as in previous visits.

Was disappointing. Only two of the pyramids were open yet they charge full price. My granddaughter loved the Aquarium and Rainforest pyramids.

It seems since the Discovery pyramid was closed to remodeling the tickets should have been discounted.

We went 3 years ago and it was a great experience then. This time we felt cheated.

It’s nice but not worth the price.

It is nice enough, but extremely over-priced. We are from Nebraska, and maybe we are spoiled by the Henry Dorley Zoo, but it is tons better and a third of the price!

This was a very educational and fun place to bring your kids. They learned a lot about salt water animals and got to interact with some animals.

Awesome place to visit!!!
May 2021
I have been to Moody Gardens before several years ago. This time was much better. All areas were super clean. I even saw a worker disinfecting the walls of the restrooms. Food was very expensive though--$12 for a burger and $5 for fries. We bought the value pass that was good for entrance to the pyramids, two movies, and a trip on the paddleboat. It was well worth it and we stayed for about four hours total.

Fun Adventure
May 2021 • Couples
We enjoyed the Rain Forest and Aquarium pyramids. Saw the 4D movie on sharks and 3D on Hidden Pacific. If you are planning on going to more than one exhibit, the value pass is the way to go.
