Living in the TX Hill Country, we frequent Hwy 290 to Fredericksburg quite a bit. Some friends had recently taken a helicopter ride and said the kids had a blast. So when my son was out of school for the summer, we decided that a ride would be a great way to kick off the summer break. Halsey and Will made the experience unforgettable for my wife, my son, and me. We took off from the Fredericksburg trade days lot and took an incredible ride over the Pedernales River, Wildseed Farms, Albert, Stonewall, and surrounding areas. Seeing the area from above only reinforced why I love this area so much. They offer a few different flight packages and even offer one over Enchanted Rock (next time by the way for this guy.) They were hospitable in a Texas kind of way, even though Halsey ( the pilot) is from Oregon. I look forward to taking my next ride and would encourage anybody visiting the area to do the same.

Thank you guys so much for coming out and pursuing a helicopter tour first-hand. You, Shea and “Ghrambo” are too much fun! It’s very special to us when families choose to make it something they do together. We strive to create lasting memories and hope you guys can share your experience together for years to come. We were driving over to Grape Creek to pick up our wine shipment and we saw a man waving to us on the side of the road, next to a sign for helicopter tours! Having never done one before, we said what the heck. It was a great experience! Halsey, our pilot, knew a lot about the Fredericksburg area and told us many interesting facts. His partner, "Handlebar" even took care of our dog while we were in the tour. We are so glad we went, highly recommended!!!

We are extremely happy that you guys decided to stop while driving by! We love sharing our helicopter with everyone, however, sharing a first helicopter experience is very special for our entire team. Seems like a pretty good day: helicopter tour, and Grape Creek wine shipment! As passengers, you guys are half the fun and I was happy to get to know you guys, all while showing you my world. Thank you again for joining us during your time in Fredericksburg and hope to see you guys again soon. I know you have invested interest in Kerrville which is only a “Hop, skip away” from our location… just saying

An unique, unforgettable way to see Fredericksburg! Our pilot, Halsey, was knowledgeable about the area, safety minded and made an already awesome experience that much better! Above all, he worked around our schedule (and the weather) to make sure a surprise anniversary gift went perfectly. Cannot recommend this enough!

My “surprise crew!” I thought it was incredible that you both were harboring surprises for you big anniversary weekend. You guys definitely win the gold star for couples . Thank you for your kind words in regards to your experience aboard “Papa Romeo.” We appreciate your flexibility and just glad we could make it happen with this crazy weather lately. Halsey was great. I had so much fun riding around the Texas Hill Country. We flew over LBJ Ranch and saw some spectacular sights. I would highly recommend going.

We loved our experience! We did two flights for my son's 9th birthday. Mr. Schider and Mr. Knofla were very professional and friendly. The experience was a first timer for most of our family and boy, was it fun! Mr. Schider worked with us to fly over specific spots that we wanted to see and explained sights as we flew by. I would definitely do this again. The only negative of the experience was that it is over. This is a top notch team and experience like no other!!!

I proposed to my girlfriend at the end of the ride. I talked to Halsey in advance, he was great. The ground crew guy staked out the sign with my proposal on the ground, we flew over and I asked her. In truth, it was a little overwhelming - but very exciting and it makes a great story. But - no worries - Halsey sent us to a great winery where we had some quiet time - so all in all a memorable day. Thanks!

I booked a flight for my hubby's birthday. He asks for nothing and has what he needs. I wanted something memorable that we could share together. Halsey made our flight truly unforgettable. Professional and very safety oriented, it is the most fun you can have at a very reasonable price. Chief pilot Halsey Schider made the trip even better with his knowledge and commentary of the surrounding countryside. My wife, who is not overly fond of flying, had never been in a helicopter before. After this flight, she is hooked and wanting to do it again. Can't wait for the helicopter winery tours!

I had this grand idea to propose to my girlfriend from a helicopter in Fredericksburg.Mr. Schider was EXTREMELY helpful!! He was very friendly and very professional at the same time. While Mr. Schider took us on our tour of the Enchanted Rock, William (his co-worker), rolled out the sign that I had made so as we returned from our tour you could see it from the air. They were very happy to help in any way possible which helped make our special day extra special. I couldn't have done it without their help.
This special day was made possible by the great crew at Equitis. They were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend everybody tour the Hill Country with these guys!!

how much would it cost to fly to fredericksburg from houston?
