Fine Collection of Art and Craftsmanship

I was not really expecting much but encountered a delightful surprise. Jewelry artist Cass Dunhane acted as my docent as I learned that she moved from Oahu just 5 months earlier and brought with her the Aloha spirit of hospitality. The gallery is a diverse collection of quality art for affordable prices.There are approximately 80 artists who have the opportunity to show their work which includes textiles, glass, painters, mosaics, sculpture, wood, and ceramics. With such a variety, the gallery could have easily taken a craft fair look. But not so! Trudy Frantzen, new owner since last August, has done an excellent job of creating a fine art gallery. My visit was during Art Walk when wine and snacks were served that could be enjoyed in an outdoor seating area. Eight artists were there to meet the visitors. When in Fredericksburg be sure to stop by. You will be glad you did.

Interesting art by a number of local artists

Great selection of art

The selection of art, from jewelry to sculpture is incredible. The paintings and pottery are particularly remarkable. I highly recommend anyone visiting Fredricksburg to drop by, look, shop and buy.

Artisans is one of my favorite galleries to visit in Fredericksburg. Under new ownership, the space is open and inviting, and showcases a wide variety of local artists and artisans. The gallery is staffed by the owners (both artists) as well as the artists/artisans who have works on display there. It is this eclectic mix that makes Artisans unique among all the other wonderful galleries in town -- and what keeps me coming back time after time.

Beutiful objects of art by local artists

I have been to this "gallery" several times. They have ceramics, original oil and watercolor paintings, stained glass, metal sculpture, you name it and all by local, talented artists. Don't miss this place at 234 Main street in Fredericksburg. Heart of the Hill country.

Very nice gallery with reasonable prices. All the work is by local artists. It is located in the west end a couple of blocks from the Main St. shops.

Cluttered art gallery

I have bought over 30 pieces of Pottery from this shop. My favorite pieces are those you use everyday. From coffee mugs to the small snack bowls to the platters and chip/dip trays.
