Overall a good trip, but we were shorted a winery. We paid for a trip to 3 wineries and lunch and we received a trip to two wineries, a lunch, and then a tasting and food pairing at the owners newest venture at a theater in town. This was a shameless attempt to promote their new theater venture instead of taking us to an actual winery as advertised and paid for. If you sell a trip to 3 wineries then it should be to three wineries..and we double checked the advertisement and it clearly says 3 wineries and lunch not just 3 tastings and lunch. We didn’t complain though because it was still a good trip and the food was amazing at the lunch and tasting. However, we would have preferred another actual winery vice the theater. Food was provided by Western Edge restaurant and again it was awesome. The driver was 30 minutes late picking up everyone to start the trip. He ended up being a great guy though and we enjoyed having him drive us around. If you are thinking of booking them, you may want to contact them to request the actual itinerary before you pay/book.

Was overall a nice experience (the weather was beautiful and the wines were grand) but definitely had some sour notes.
1st, the website and ad copy said that we would have ample time at each winery (we were rushed out of the first one by our driver, not really very graciously) that we would be given water between each winery while on the bus (never happened) and that we would dine in a Main Street restaurant (not at all what happened).
Not having enough time meant that we did not get a chance to shop and look in all the gift stores at each winery equally. So some wineries missed out on our spending.
Our driver seemed to have overloaded his schedule that day and was always rushed trying to get somewhere else and pick up someone else, or drop off, or whatever. The restaurant they took us to for lunch (Sapphire Package) was no were near Main Street and while they servers were nice enough, we were told to order only off the VERY limited lunch menu ($8.99 tops), the food was mediocre, and that is being kind.
All that said, the wineries themselves were just beautiful, the wine was really really delicious and the group of people we happened to be lumped in with was delightful. I was doing this with my bestie of 35+ years and we had a great day.
Final note: I am in sales, I get a strategic upsell. But do not wait until you have taken people drinking to 3 wineries before you ask them if they want to add the 4th. There is a reason people choose the package they do, and when you have been drinking the answer is always "yes." Which in our case was not a smart choice.

Without a doubt, my wife and I could not have asked for a better experience. Our day started with Rusty (our awesome guide) meeting is and asking if there was anything special we wanted or if we had any preferences. He was knowledgeable about the area wineries (and local restaurants when we needed a suggestion), and he was engaging and funny. Our tour had three stops, two which were requested by another couple, and Rusty had no problem adjusting our itinerary to get us to those two.
The winery choices were exceptional: beautiful facilities, quality wines, well trained and informed staff. All our needs were met, even lunch. Honestly, before going, we were expecting a “boxed lunch,” but at our first stop, Rusty brought us menus for a nice cafe in Fredericksburg and took our orders. When we left the first stop, we went to the restaurant to eat, and all our food was hot and ready as we arrived. Such a nice touch.
We will definitely be calling Majesty Tours for our next trip to Fredericksburg and would absolutely recommend them to anyone interested in a tour package!

I have done quite a few wine tours before in my lifetime, and Majesty was definitely the worst. We paid almost $400 to go to 4 wineries and have lunch at a restaurant downtown, and each time at our tastings our tour guide, Rusty, rushed us to leave each winery. Each wine tasting was very similar in length (45-50 mins), and Rusty made sure to let us know that we were not to be a minute over that every 10 minutes or so (because, of course, we had the ability to force our server to only serve us {sarcasm}) and constantly reminding us of how much time was left. Not only is this aggravating to me, the consumer, as this is supposed to be a relaxing tour to help us learn more about each wine and winery, but this is also frustrating to each winery, as we had no time to determine whether we wanted to buy bottles of the wine they were offering. Later, we overheard Rusty saying he was leaving to go out of town after the tour was over, so I can only assume this is why we were being rushed on our wine tasting experience. The next day when we were visiting wineries on our own, we had also heard similar stories from other wineries about this tour service. My recommendation would be to pick another tour, as this one was not worth the money we spent.

Our tour driver/guide, Mike, was amazing. He made sure we were good with the itinerary, took pictures of the group throughout, and walked us into each winery where they had our tastings already set-up. He helped secure and get our purchases back on the bus. Would definitely recommend!

Our driver was great but the tour was blah. We went to 3 wineries and none of them were that great. You don't even tour anything, it's just a tasting. We went to Texas Heritage, Mendelbaum (terrible wine, dirty bathrooms, worker not wearing gloves while he was preparing a pizza), and Fat Ass Winery (crowded, fruity wine that reminded me of Robitussin or Boone's Farm). The tastings were rushed so after the 5 tastings, we just sat there until the 50 min-1 hr was up. We ended up buying a bottle, one that we didn't even like, with another couple to pass the time. So you end up paying for basically 3 glasses of wine (5 sample pours at each winery) and lunch which is at a diner in town and the 'tour' is approximately 5 hours! Save your time and money and walk up and down Main to do tastings or get an Uber and go out to a winery and take an actual tour.

My husband and I visited Fredricksburg for our 24th anniversary and booked the wine tour with Majesty Tours on the way. Our driver, Ron, was prompt with the 10:30 am pick-up, was very friendly, and was very knowledgeable about the area. He did not rush us and would come to check on our group (one other couple on the tour) and take our bags of purchased items to the bus for us. We even decided to add a third stop for what was supposed to be a 2-winery tour. He called the office and made arrangements to add another stop. The bus was clean and our driver had bottled water for us. Majesty Tours and Ron easily made this first-time wine tour experience wonderful for us!

If you do book I would make sure to reach out to see which wineries you are going to before hand. We paid over $100 for three of the worst tastings I've ever had. (I want to preface we are 20 something year old women and we still couldn't stomach the wine) We could have laughed through the tastings but unfortunately social distancing practices were not implemented leaving us feeling uneasy. I understand Covid has made these types of activities more difficult but the irony of seeing signs to "maintain 6 feet apart" and 'masks required" while staff members were not wearing masks and crammed over 15 people on picnic tables was too much for us. We were happy to support local businesses but had done other safe tastings with better wine the day before so unfortunately I cannot recommend this tour. It was honestly the worst part of our trip especially considering we called Majesty Tours prior to ensure Covid measures would be respected.

For $200+ per person the quality & service did not warrant this cost. Horrible experience & the dinner included in the tour was terrible the service was terrible. When we approached the tour operator about the experience she treated our concerns with disdain. All this company cares about is getting your money. Once they have been paid they could care less whether they deliver a quality product.

For $92 per person + $35 for the whole group, the shuttle picked us up from our Airbnb in Albert, TX and drove us to two different winery vineyards. Safari wasn’t great, but Hilmy was amazing. It was strange that we didn’t have a say on what vineyards we went to.. While at the wineries, the driver hovered obsessively near our table and made the experience more awkward than not. He “checked on us” at least four times within an hour and created a strange atmosphere. I appreciated the dedicated service, but I suggest there be more training for him on what is preferable to customers.

You can tell them what wineries you are interested in and they will try to accomodate if they can. Or you can let them choose. If you are on a van with other groups they will be less flexible. We were only in interested in Fat A## and they were going there anyway. Trip Advisor won't let me write the name of the winery:)
