Rummaging through these aisles reminded me of when we'd visit my grandparents years ago. There were plenty of old-time candies available and lots of smiles from the memories. It's fascinating that you can find a little bit of everything here (fabric, underwear, flags, candy, kitchen utensils). Worth stopping just for a short time to see how things "used to be."

As locals, we often go to Dooley's for household items... they have a great selection of practical stuff as well as souvenirs. It's a genuine old-style "five and dime" store that feels like stepping back in time. We love it and always take our out-of-town guests to shop there! Very friendly, helpful service from the staff and good prices.

Dooley's reminded me of the F. W. Woolworth Five and Dime of the '50s. It has a little bit of everything: souvenirs, kitchen gadgets, fabrics and notions, clothing, toys, candy, etc. There were many items you can't easily buy anymore - a great treasure trove of stuff!
