We've been coming the Fredericksburg for many years. It's a quaint little town with a nice main street with eclectic shops, wine bars, and restaurants. All in all, it's great but... it's starting to get a little too popular and gets overly crowded around holidays.

So many different shops with different types of merchandise. There is a variety in the food also. So nice to get to walk from store to store even if you are "just looking".

The downtown is easy walking and you can find anything you need. Coffee, bakeries, restaurants, popcorn, it's all there!

One of the best main streets I’ve ever walked on. It’s historic and there are lots of shops and restaurants to check out.

Very different from other Texas towns. A bit too quaint for what we visited Texas for however much to see and do. Pricey restaurants

Additionally there are a good number of wine tasting shops. There is a good mix of price level shops, including a few really quality jewelry shops. Lots of food establishments. Also a number of "tourist traps". The primary shopping district is 4-5 blocks long and...More

Wonderful and entertaining Main Street. Lots to see and do, food to enjoy, drinks to sip and live music to entertain everyone. Shopping is unique, ice cream to cool you down and authentic German cuisine plus all sorts of other choices. A classy and nostalgic...More

I love visiting Main Street Fredericksburg for a day of shopping, exploring, wine tasting, and dining. If you arrive early in the day, parking is a breeze (it does get crowded after lunch). There is such a wide variety of shops: boutiques, old general stores,...More

YES, stores are open Sundays. This is the BEST Main Street shopping we have seen in USA in last 40 years. Hours are Monday thru Saturday 9 to 6 and Sunday 11-5. Some stores will be open earlier and later. Fredericksburg has... More

I really don't know. I would call the Baron's Inn. I am sure they would have the information. They are a nice hotel and would know the area practices on Christmas. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
