if you're passing through and need to stretch your legs this is a quick way to kill an hour or two and get some gorgeous views of the Texas hill country.

This is a beautiful place. A lot more than I expected. The ride through the hill country to get there is one of the most beautiful in Texas.

We hiked the Summit Trail, not too difficult-we are weekend hikers and over 50. Must wear sensible shoes-no flip flops or strollers. It took us about 30 minutes to reach the top and it was breath-taking. Go first thing in the morning, park opens at...More

This is great if you are in great shape. I would recommend it during the cooler seasons. A one time deal, but fun. Hope you are in good shape, and have good shoes. Take water etc. No concessions on the way up lol
