One of the best historical or pioneer museums. Recommend starting with the video at the beginning... it's short and it tells the story of the first German settlers and how they came to Fredericksburg

I love how excited the info desk person was to share the importance of the unbroken treaty. She really filled in the details beyond the historical movie which starts on the quarter of the every hour.

An interesting look into pioneer times in Fredericksburg, especially since the town was typical for its time. Admission was very inexpensive and also included admission to Vereins Kirche, which we missed because of time constraints. Worth the small amount of times it takes to see...More

Multiple historic buildings filled with artifacts were fun to explore. Every building had a automated audio that helped explain the building and the items in it. Please visit this museum. It is excellent. A complex of recreated homes from a past era. History comes alive and is greatly recorded. Collect your passport and enjoy the day
