Cowboys, music legends, and a former president are just a few of the historical characters featured in a full-day tour into Texas Hill Country. The extensive itinerary takes you to Lyndon B. Johnson's former home, followed by a scenic journey through wine country. Visit the historic German town of Fredericksburg, where you can dine at a typical biergarten, enjoy a wine tasting, or pick up souvenirs (all at own expense).

We really enjoyed the self-guided tour here. You really felt like you were living in pioneer days. Very well done! And great for young ones to become interested in history!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Pioneer Museum complex. I really dislike introductory films, but the one here was far and above any I've ever seen. So much information and such rich history!

My friend and I stopped here as he has a lot of German heritage in him. Nice gift shop and the grounds with all the buildings are neat to go in and learn the history of Fredericksburg and the settlement of the place. Very interesting. Nice video in one of the buildings outside.

Pioneer Museum gives a glimpse of German History in the hardships of the Texas Hill Country. Each exhibit showed furniture, dishes, dolls, table clothes and other artifacts of pioneer culture. There was an audio display to help with the understanding of the time period.
