In a town of beautiful wineries, there is no need to settle for a strip center, "winery" with tacky souvenirs and pushy staff.

Our favorite was the woman with an odd German(?) accent who said "If its not from Texas, it's foreign" when my wife asked if all the wines (horrible) were made from Texas grapes. LOL Also, my wife asked if any of the wines had been oaked: "They are made in the steel tanks you see behind me" (rather unfriendly tone)... More

The wine was okay at best. The woman doing the wine tasting was so rude I would not have bought anything even if it tasted amazing.

This place was terrible! The service was bad. The wines were bad. And it was a total waste of time! I could not dislike this place more. Don't waste your time. However the chocolate place that is connected to it was delicious.

We stopped by to explore wine and do some tastings. Of the folks who were there, one was very nice and the other gentlemen was downright rude. I think since it was close to closing time he had been sampling too much of his own product. In the end, we tried two wines, one was just OK and the other... More

Great stop on Main St. For wine tasting. Family owned business with many family members working. Their "Christmas" wine was a group favorite. The decor is lacking, but they made up for it in knowledge. You will not see actual fields of grapes here. But, they actually bottle the wine is this building and its neat to see that aspect.

My husband and I stopped in on the spur of the moment for a wine tasting and we were not disappointed. We tasted 5 wines for $10.00 per person and they gave you the glasses as a souvenir. We bought several bottles of wine. They also had a crock pot of Gluwehein, which reminded me so much of being in... More

Convenient to parking and shops, we visited Fredericksburg Winery first . There were signs inside with historical information and the difference between vineyards and wines. Minerva explained the best way to taste wines and was very helpful. We purchased a couple of bottles and some jams. We will go there again the next time we visit Fredericksburg.

Seriously very welcoming. Jack was the best! He was super sweet, we felt so welcomed. The wine is good! Everything we tried was terrific! The port was awesome. Seriously will come back here again!
