My husband and I scheduled a couple’s massage during a weekend getaway in Fredericksburg. At first, it was hard to figure out how to enter the spa and where to wait. However, the massage was phenomenal. Most of the time, when I ask for a deep tissue massage, it ends up not being enough pressure but Carissa did it incredibly well. We will come back to Fredericksburg for this!

My husband and I had a lovely couple's message shortly after getting married. It was our one splurge and we loved it! Carissa and her partner Savannah were lovely people who really took good care of us. They wore masks and so did we until we were on the tables face down.
Carissa did a massage for me as well as a facial, and Savannah massaged my husband.
Carissa's hands are magical! She really made me feel good after getting into the knots I've developed from hunching at my desk all day. The facial was divine and she recommended a pumpkin scrub that was scrumptious smelling.
My husband's experience went well too, he really needed the kinks worked out and Savannah got 'em!
It's a bit of a funky location but when you go inside it's very nice and quiet, they share the space with a BnB and everything was clean and tidy.
We highly recommend European Day Spa for couples (or singles!) who need a special touch. Mimosa and coffee on the house made it that much more excellent :)

My husband planned a couples massage and 3 days in Fredericksburg for our anniversary. We started at the spa. It has a little of a luxe cowboy kinda vibe and is kinda funky cause it’s in an old train depot.
We were greeted with mimosas and filled out health questionnaires. I thought we were just getting massages, but we each had a massage and facial. Joyce and Katie were awesome and our services were very relaxing and much needed. Carissa was kind enough to arrange for us to go even though it was Labor Day.
Overall, it was a great experience.

I will give it one star for ambiance and one star for friendliness of staff but that’s where it ends. My wife and I booked a 90 minute couples massage. The masseuse was 30 minutes late for our appointment. After asking for a deep tissue massage she continued to barely touch my back. 20 minutes into it I asked to make some changes to the pressure but she did not oblige. My wife had same exact experience. No shower or facility to change in afterwards. The website does not reflect their facility. Would recommend looking for spa services elsewhere. Very disappointed.

Excellent massage! Minor issues were Therapist wanted to talk and I didn't. Howerver I could have stated I prefer to not talk but did not convey that to her. Had a little trouble with my face rest. Seemed the space where by face rested was closed! After an adjustment it was fine. One other matter I think needs addressing. The location does NOTHING to suggest a spa is in the building. You drive up to the address and all you see is a cabinet making business. The building is not at all attractive. No sign to indicate a spa is located in the building. I had to have a code to get in the front door. Odd. However the inside of the spa was ecstatically pleasing. Give the place a try!

Great massage at a reasonable price. My wife and I opted for a 1 hr couples massage while visiting Fredericksburg for a weekend vacation. The masseuses were keen to ensure pressure was to our satisfaction, they inquired about pain spots, injuries and allergies, so, needless to say know what they’re doing. The location is inside a hotel, not easy to spot, yet service was great and professional. Would come back in the future and recommend to others.

The good. Our couples massage was amazing. The room was clean and very comfortable. The therapists were great and paid attention to each of our unique needs. They deserve 5 stars.
The only thing that was weird was the location. The spa is in a commercial/semi industrial building and it isn't easy to figure out where to go. It's not seedy, just confusing.
I would, however, use the spa again. Overall, great experience.

This was the BEST part of my anniversary trip this year. The owner was very accommodating to get my husband and I facials and massages booked when it was convenient for us. The two ladies that provided our services were absolutely amazing. 2.5 hour massage/facial/hand and foot treatments. I would come back to Fredericksburg for this experience alone!!!

We did a couples massage this morning. We had a conversation before beginning the session on what our problem areas were. I explained that I have been having trouble with my lower back and would like to have the massage focused on this area. Unfortunately that didn’t happen - what I received was a mediocre standard massage routine. My girlfriend had a much better experience with the therapist whom I perceive as also being the owner of the business. When I expressed my displease with the massage she (the perceived owner) offered to treat me personally at a discounted rate however I let know her it was not possible for me to come back due to our schedule. Instead of giving a discount for the not very good service rendered she was instead trying to get additional dollars from me.
Overall not a good experience. Unfortunately I can not recommend this place for anyone.

Hands down the best spa experience ever! Would recommend to anyone looking to have a couples getaway or even just wanting to pamper yourself! Will definitely be back!
