Guide was great and we got to see the grapes to the making of the wine. Was super fun. They told us in 2019 they will have a day of grape stomping, planning on going.

Enjoyed learning about their wines and they were good! This is a newer winery off the beaten path without a tasting room on Main Street. The servers were really friendly and helpful. Bought 3 bottles to take home. Always nice to find something new!

This new vineyard is a must see if you come to Fredericksburg. A quaint little winery, family owned, and excellent wine. The owners are very friendly and the tasting room was very enjoyable. We will certainly be coming back as it is probably one of...More

This a must see on your next wine trip to the Texas Hill Country. Great service!! Awesome knowledge of the Texas wine industry. The wines are all very good especially the estate wines with black labels. Bravo

At 1851, the grapes aren't local, they're from the high plains area near Lubbock. I tasted five wines and none of them were to my liking. Stick with beer in TX.

Made the bachelorette group that was on our tour feel bad for completing some of their bachelorette game cards.

Very nice place with an attentive staff and an outdoor seating area. We were greeted at the door by a nice lady and escorted to the bar where we tried several of their current wines. It was a nice experience and we would definitely return.

There are only five wines to taste. We sat at the bar. Several tables are also available. Oyster crackers and chocolate chips were provided. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We purchased two bottles of wine and the tasting fee was waived.

We really appreciate that this family winery is expanding and concentrating on their vineyards and making good wine, instead of having a fancy wine-tasting facility for show. They're putting their efforts into the winemaking process and it shows with very good wines. Friendly staff; simple...More

They have a dog. I would suggest just calling them and asking. They were very nice and friendly and would not mind answering questions at all.
