We booked this tour with Rex and and the the 19th hole and it was amazing. We did the Par 3 but could of done more. The van was spotless and Rex was very professional and a really friendly person. He was there for whatever we needed and was eager to give us a lot of history of the area. He is just a really good guy and made this Louisiana Crew feel special. Thanks for the good time Rex and we will be back.

Rex was very accommodating and catered to our desire for a new wine tasting experience. We have taken a tour with him 3 times and each time we went to a new winery. I like using Rex because he drives while we’re able to drink responsibly. He picks us up from our location and drops us off. Lunch was a sandwich from a local shop and they were filling and delicious, served with a huge cookie for dessert!
This tour is a group thing but every group we have been with has been entertaining.

Our tour guide, Rex, did an excellent job of taking us to 4 different wineries in the Fredericksburg area. He was actually very friendly and knowledgeable guide about the area. We’ll use him again on our return to Fredericksburg

What a great experience! 30 th birthday celebration and Rex and Rena could not have done a better job!
Picked us up in San Antonio and did all the driving for a week. Great job and spot on communication and timing !
Wine tasting great job and showed us luckenbach great little ( 3 person town).
Would recommend them to anyone if need transportation or a wine tour. Great Job!

Rex was a delightful wine tasting tour guide! He knows the area well and knows all the winery hosts. He is flexible and prepared. He took us to a nice variety of wineries. We would totally use him again next time we come to Fredericksburg. Thank you Rex. Oh - and we love the name - 19th Hole Winery Tours!

I booked a wine tour with Rex and 19th Hole Wine Tours for my baby sister’s bachelorette party this past weekend. There were 11 of us girls and everyone agreed the tour and Rex were fantastic! From first contact Rex as helpful and professional. He recommended wineries that were good for our size group and that would have great photo ops (a very important thing for our bride to be). The sandwich shop Rex got us lunch from was delicious as well. On the tour Rex was personable and full of information. The tour bus was clean and professional inside and out. I hadn't been to Fredericksburg in about 9 years and so much had changed. The main street was bigger with more places to shop and eat and according to Rex, there were ten times the amount of wineries (from 6 to 60)! We started with Pedernales, which is a personal favorite of mine because the wine is delicious and the place is calm and classy with a great porch area. Here the tasting was fixed and we all tasted the same 8 wines. Rex secured us a private tasting room here and we got to keep the glasses which was nice. Next we went to 4.0 Cellars (a Rex recommended stop) which had a bunch a great tasting options. I also learned that this winery gets wines from 3 different wine makers and changes its selection menus monthly. We had lunch here in the beautiful outdoor space where there was live music. The next stop at Southold Farm and Cellar was everyone's favorite by far though. This was recommended by Rex for its spectacular views and it did not disappoint! Located at the top of a high hill, this small single room tasting house had the best view and ambiance of any winery I have ever been to. The tasting room had large windows on every wall giving great views during our tasting. The wine maker’s father did our tasting and told endearing stories about the family and the wine making. The wines were not my cup of tea for the most part, but I always like to try new types of wine. Oh and the dog there is amazing. His name is Waldo and he was happy to pose for all the photos we wanted with him. The back porch here has several porch swings faced toward the best views in Fredericksburg. Southold is a must see! Finally, we went Fat Ass Winery and Ranch, a selection of mine. The wine here was not good in my opinion, but if you want a lively party this is the place to be! The atmosphere is upbeat and full of life. No sniffing the bouquet or wine spit buckets at Fat Ass. No way! I did like their frozen wine though. Book a tour with Rex and 19th Hole Wine Tours and you cannot go wrong!

We wanted a service to take us to very specific wineries and came across 19th hole. From booking our trip to the day of the event, Rex was highly responsive and wonderful to work with. He took care of booking a reservation where needed, planned the order of Winery visits based on location/reservation time, and got us a great lunch from a local spot. We had plenty of time at each winery and never felt rushed. Rex has a great personality and runs a great business. We will definitely use 19th Hole for our future trips to Fredericksburg!

Rex was our guide and driver, he was very friendly and accommodating. We were picked up promptly at the scheduled time and place. We went to three different tasting locations, all unique in their atmosphere and styles. We had a great time and plan to return for another tour and bring our friends and family!

We visited Augusta Vin, where they gave us a lovely cheese board because it was my husband’s 60 th birthday, Safari and Bingham. I cannot remember the name of the other place but it wasn’t a vineyard and it featured wines from other parts of Texas, not Fredericksburg. Safari featured wines imported from other parts of the world, no local or Texas wines.

Is the price per person? I am in charge of social events for a women's club in San Antonio and I am interested in creating a wine tour experience for our members on the first Tuesday of April. Since each person will be paying for herself, and I anticipate approximately 15 to 20 women in attendance, I will need a breakdown of costs to present to the group next Tuesday.
