We enjoyed our tour of the Bureau. I recommend it! The guide was knowledgable and informative. Definantly a little off the beaten path but worth the trip!

A well-planned self-guided free tour, quite interesting to see the many processes needed to make currency. The employees seem proud of their jobs and facility... rightly so! No free samples though! :)

It was super fun, the kids just wanted to watch the money being made, the adults listened to the potable handheld tour guides. It was all inside, which is great in the middle of the summer in Texas heat.

I wan't sure what to expect from this place - more museum-like or interactive? It was actually a well-organized mix of both. There is a self-guided audio tour where you can walk along a hallway that is above the actual money-making floor. You can see...More

Took the kids there. They had a great time touring the facility. The best part was watching the person trying to put old torn bills back together so they can be replaced. It is a great afternoon adventure.

Took my sister to visit this for a birthday outing -- We had never been and found the whole thing fascinating. The tour is really good - you walk through at your own pace, listen to the devices giving you information at numbered stops -...More

This has been on my bucket list for a long time. When you arrive at the facility, a recording lets you know which items are prohibited (cameras, cell phones, food). You go through a small building to catch a tram to the factory. Once at...More
