Good vibes
Sep 2018 • Friends
A friend and I were in town for a football game and stopped by afterwards. We went with the goal of eating based on reviews we found online, although we were told the kitchen closed at 10pm. We understood and decided to have a drink as the vibe was very cool. Appears to be a very old train station that's been maintained or restored. Bartender was helpful and friendly, atmosphere was great, I'll definitely stop back next time I'm in town.

Happy Hour special every day of the week
Aug 2016
There is a nice happy hour price every day of the week, including some appetizers at half price. Martini Monday is my favorite day of the week as the drinks are excellent and the service is usually good. They have a list of appetizers which are half price Monday thru Friday and the food always comes out piping hot and cooked to perfection....pork tacos are perfect. They also have sandwich's and pizza. There is a decent craft beer night and the place can become packed. There is an outdoor patio that is pet friendly but not very waiter friendly since drinks are discounted for sitting in the out door covered patio.

Happy Hour With History
Jul 2016 • Friends
I came in to enjoy a craft beer upon a friend's suggestion for a meet up point. I was so glad I did. This place is one of the many reasons Fort Worth is such a groovy place to be. I had a "Fullers London Pride" in a craft beer exploratory adventure and was pleased with my choice. We also ordered brisket quesadillas (on happy hour price) and thought it was wonderful. The brisket was moist and tasty and all ingredients were fresh . The Texas Rangers game was on and they showed it on a big screen projector, projected against the wall. As a Rangers fan, I was very appreciative. It is also worth going to the website to read the history of the place, which dates back to the 1930's. The service was amazing, giving us samples of beer to help us make our final choice. I will be back and highly recommend .

Unique
Jan 2016
The unique setting is the working Texas and Pacific train station. Nice place for a drink and bar food. It can get crowded because it is connected to a large condo complex and lots of tenants hangout there. It has fully covered outdoor seating and really large fans to stir the air.

Enjoy Tavern Food with Great Drink Specials in a Historical Setting
Jun 2015 • Family
The T & P Tavern offers comfortable indoor & outdoor seating, situated in the interface of the grand architecture of the Texas & Pacific Lofts Building & the TRE rail stop between Fort Worth & Dallas. If you want an evening of fun away from Big D, catch the TRE train in Dallas, get off @ T & P station. You walk down the short, well-lighted corridor & find the tavern @ the end. Fun trip, no worry about driving, & great pub food & beverages waiting when you arrive. When you are ready, catch the train back home. You are right @ the station. The ambiance of the setting makes the tavern experience a delight. You spend an evening on the same ground that has seen thousands of travelers over much of the 20th century & keeps working. The food @ the tavern is very good & the drinks made to order with a great menu of good beers. On the weekends, you can step around the corner & catch the mobile "beer wagon," serving draft beer on the sidewalk. A lot of fun, a good place to eat, & a safe trip home.

Good spot for a cold one.

Unique ambiance. It's in a historical train depot, and the train still stops there. There's lots of other cool stuff within walking distance.
