Great opportunity to watch authentic historic cattle drive! The Longhorns are majestic and the entire area is like stepping back in time. There are live shows of gunfighters and lots of great shopping and dining. The train is a fun trip as well.

We really enjoyed the whole atmosphere of the old stockyards. From the shops to the mini cattle drive the experience exceeded my expectations. The trail boss is to be commended for the great time we had!

Came to Dallas for business and everyone said go to Fort Worth if you want to see what people think of when they think of the "real" Texas. This is definitely a sight worth seeing! So glad we got to experience a little piece of local culture. Would love to bring my kids here one day.

Watch the Longhorns march down exchange street. Fun to experience, and there is a lot of stuff to do afterwards. Hit the Love Shack for an awesome Burger. There were quite a few people lined up to watch but we didn't have any trouble getting there 60 seconds before the start and still seeing everything. Cheers.

I've lived in Texas for nearly 7 years now and had not yet seen the Ft. Worth Herd. Since my sister was in town, we decided to take the family down to see. It was really neat! Prior to the cattle being driven down Main Street, some of the cowboys come out and show off roping skills and allow people... More

We returned to watch the herding - just as it would be a shame to miss it. We had already been to the rodeo on another evening. There's a bit of time waiting and then they walk through.

I don't know what I was expecting, but this was really disappointing. After 30-45 minutes of buildup, crowds lining up, the street being blocked off, etc, here comes maybe 10 longhorns surrounded by a bunch of cowboys. They all mechanically walk past quietly, zombie-like, staring straight ahead at a fairly rapid pace. Poof! Maybe 30 seconds, it's all over. The... More
