About a dozen longhorns are paraded down Exchange Ave. for about 1/10 of a mile by a handful of gussied up horse riders. This is more of a zoo exhibit than a cattle drive. Truly uninteresting and kind of depressing. But it really brings out the tourists. Its sad - the once great cattle drives and cattle trading of yesteryear... More

If you've never been near a longhorn or know what one is, I definitely recommend you see the herd. It doesn't last a long time but you get to see what it must have been like for cowboys back in the day to move a herd. The herd goes down the center of the Main Street of the stockyards. You... More

The Fort Worth area was quaint. Cobblestone covered streets. Many places to eat and shop. The cattle drive happens 9:30 am and 4: pm daily and would be great for kids to watch. Friendly people.

Great opportunity to watch authentic historic cattle drive! The Longhorns are majestic and the entire area is like stepping back in time. There are live shows of gunfighters and lots of great shopping and dining. The train is a fun trip as well.

We really enjoyed the whole atmosphere of the old stockyards. From the shops to the mini cattle drive the experience exceeded my expectations. The trail boss is to be commended for the great time we had!

Came to Dallas for business and everyone said go to Fort Worth if you want to see what people think of when they think of the "real" Texas. This is definitely a sight worth seeing! So glad we got to experience a little piece of local culture. Would love to bring my kids here one day.

Watch the Longhorns march down exchange street. Fun to experience, and there is a lot of stuff to do afterwards. Hit the Love Shack for an awesome Burger. There were quite a few people lined up to watch but we didn't have any trouble getting there 60 seconds before the start and still seeing everything. Cheers.
