Great small intimate theatre. Free parking right out front after 6pm. Friendly staff, small but adequate bar. No food allowed.

We visited McDavid studio to see Terry Bozzio, a drummer. I was a little concerned about the acoustics, but was pleasantly surprised! While the music was loud, it was not deafening. I thought Mr. Bozzio did a great job, obviously a very talented musician. The seating is usually general admission, so get there early. Even though the place was sold out, I did not see a bad seat in the house. The venue did have a cash bar set up in the corner. We did not take advantage of the free parking in the garage, instead we opted for the free parking on 3rd street and had a one block walk. If you go, make sure you walk around the newly renovated Sundown square. We love downtown Fort Worth and I would absolutely return to this wonderful venue. It would be great to see a classical Spanish guitarist on stage there. The tickets were very reasonable at 33.00 each.
