Family-friendly and fun for all ages. I lost my Apple Watch while diving in and they were able to send divers in to go retrieve it. Lifeguards were very attentive and quick to help swimmers in need. Excellent Service!! We will be back.

We were looking for a fun way to cool off for a few hours before leaving DFW. The reviews made us roll the dice and try out this previously unheard of destination. It was a perfect day! Our family with 3 teen boys spent about 5 hours playing before driving home. It was not overly crowded on an August weekday. We were easily able to claim picnic tables in the shade. We had packed a cooler. The concessions looked good though we did not buy anything. The lake and surrounding area was clean. I felt like there was adequate life guard supervision. Everyone enjoyed our time there!

I went to Burger Lake as a teen and haven’t been in years. We went yesterday with two young girls, 5 and 2. Everyone had a absolute blast!!! The Sandy beaches were a big hit as was watching people fly off the swing. It was busy but we easily found parking and a picnic table. We never felt crowded and there is so much room to spread out.
The only negative thing I have to say is that it was disappointing that the playground and trampoline cost extra. We paid 60.00 to get in and I feel it should be all included.
Other than that, everything was great!!!

So, this is a really cool retro vibe swimming hole. Park is big, lots of parking and picnic tables. I would have rated this place a 4.5 - 5 but it was very crowded, given the pandemic and there was 0 social distancing. I wish owners would consider reservation based system and limit capacity to 100-150 and and perhaps reservations only get a 4 hour block, followed by 1 hour sanitation break. Seriously, place and patrons felt uber germy.

I didn't even know this place was here. It was wonderful being able to get away and do something fun while still social distancing. My kid loved the diving boards and trapeze, I loved that there weren't seaweed, fish, and other stuffs squicking me out like at a natural lake (I like beaches, just not freshwater ickies). Lots of shade and food and drinks available for purchase, although our group brought a cooler with snacks and drinks.
Only down side was that there were people not anywhere near water refusing to put on masks saying they were just going back in but then sat outside for over an hour. Would love to have more due diligence on health and safety, they were right next to my car and I had to wait for them to get up and explain I needed them several feet away to get into my car.

I love this place! My kids love this place (8 and 11). We go a couple times every year. Been going for 30 years and my 80 year old grandparents went when they were dating! Yes it is a little expensive but worth it because there are high standards of appropriate family friendly behavior. They take safety very seriously. Definitely recommend for awesome family fun! And the bathrooms have always been clean which is a huge thing for me.

This place is so great. Feels very 80's and just perfect. Kids have a blast and so do we as adults. Life guards were on point. We saw several rescues while we were there and they were so quick. Not b/c it's dangerous but b/c kids who couldn't swim would jump into deep areas. Great swing, slides, high dives, etc... Nice picnic tables, bathrooms, etc... We love it and now go once a summer! We were there 4 hours but honestly you could stay all day and grill out (They have grills). It was crowded but not too crazy. Fun beaches with sand for the little ones too.

We had a BLAST!!! Lots of shaded picnic areas with park benches and grills, bathrooms very clean. They had every thing for all ages and the staff was very friendly, and they have life guards on alert at all times. I recommend this park when you are in town or live in Dallas it's worth the trip.

My best friend and I took our 4 young children (ages 2, 4, 6, 10) to Burger's Lake. It was absolutely wonderful! The entire place was sparkling clean and cheerful (even the bathrooms and dressing rooms.) The "lake" is round in shape and small enough that you can see your kids wherever they may wander. Likewise, small children can safely play anywhere around the outer part of the lake, while the inner part is clearly roped off and marked as the deeper water. There are large diving boards (in the deep part), a large slide, a trapeze, a fountain, and a kiddie diving board. Also, there is a large area of sand in which to build sand castles that is partially shaded (the kids buried me in the sand.) By the way, there are plenty of huge trees for shade all the way around the lake should you need it as we did. We brought our own lunches and chose a picnic table near the sand under the shade. We had 3 children with us who couldn't swim, so I rented life jackets for them at $2 per jacket for the entire day. We ended up not using them much because there is so much shallow water that it was easy to keep the kids safe. Even the teenagers there visiting were friendly and respectful and there is no alcohol allowed. A man's voice on the speaker is occasionally heard telling a visitor, "Please walk, young man. No running." It was clear that in addition the the life guards, there are others watching out for kids' safety. The owner or management obviously makes this place what it is. The kids thought this place was paradise and so did we. I had been to Burger's back in the 80's as a teen, but honestly don't remember it being this great. We spent 6 hours there and the kids were STILL begging to stay. We intend to go back soon and bring food for grilling. The only warning I might give is to secure your bread when leaving the tables. The birds there have an eye for a loaf of Mrs. Baird's....and they don't mind the plastic. We ended up "intentionally" feeding them before we left. This place comes with my HIGHEST recommendation for anyone with children. Oh, I forgot to mention the cost of admission is only $10 and kids 6 and under are FREE! I'm not sure if they have season passes but have promised the kids I will call to find out. It truly is a blast and your kids will absolutely love it. The sign at the exit says something like, "If you enjoyed your visit, tell everyone. If you disliked it, tell management." I will be telling everyone.Lisa Perdue Fort Worth, Texas

Last week was my first time there, but it was my teenager's fourth time. It was absolutely wonderful! It was so clean, organized and enjoyable that we will definitely go back.
The bathrooms even had tile flooring and were so clean. The whole area was well landscaped with both grass, tall shade trees, sand volleyball courts, and lots of soft sand. There was even a little worker boy that came around and picked up any stray litter all day.
The water only looks like lake water, but there aren't any squirmy fish, bugs, snakes, etc in it that make me uneasy about swimming in a regular lake. It is very clean and a perfect temperature.
I am forty years old, but I still went on all the fun things like the high dives, low dives, slide, and the funnest of all-- the trapeze. I haven't done those things in years, but I felt so comfortable there.
I didn't hear a single cuss word all day, and the kids there were very respectful--even remembering their manners. There were lots of lifeguards around, but it seemed like the kids there were good kids to begin with, so they obeyed the rules effortlessly.
I totally and completely recommend this fun, fun place. I loved it and kids of every age will, too.
