We have an annual lake day as a family and decided to give this local attraction a try. What a pleasant experience! Coming on a hot summer weekend the place gets crowded but there seemed to be plenty of water and picnic tables to go around. It was crowded but the staff do a great job of keeping everything under... Burger's Lake has been around for a long time. I remember going there as a kid. A couple of decades passed without me visiting but visits to the lake last year and this year bring back good memories. The only real negatives about this place is the price ($15 is a little steep IMO) and there are too many bees... More

This is mine and my friends summer spot. Best summer fun in the DFW area! Great for a group of adults and for kids! There is a little splash pad too. I wouldn't recommend little babies as the water is very cold (even the splash pad) but for 3+.. party on!

I couldnt believe I've lived here my whole life and never been to Burgers prior to 2015. This place is amazing. It has an old school, summer camp feel about it. Good, old fashioned family fun that has become a new tradition. Most places dont let you bring in your own food, but Burgers does. Dont worry if you dont... More

I went into this with mixed feelings. I'd read mixed reviews and heard through word of mouth that it was gross, green and there was nowhere to sit. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. We arrived just at 9:00 and there was already a line. I figured it couldn't be too bad if this many people were already... More

Loved this place. We spent several hours there and had a great time. One of the life guards was training another life guard. Listening to them talk about their safety procedures and practices made me feel comfortable about how they take safety seriously at the lake. I will return again and i recommend this place to anyone.

Had an amazing time at the lake. Plenty of attractions to keep you and your kids busy, from shallow waters and small slides to high dives and trapeze swings. Lots of tables but they do fill up close to the water so get there early if you want one. Lots of lifeguards and they are very good and keep the... More

I took 4 teenagers on a Monday. First, it was much much smaller than I expected but so great. Friendly environment. Great management. My teenagers had Soooo much fun! I anticipate that my younger kids will love it even more!! Reasonable snack bar. Restrooms were clean. There are plenty of shaded areas, multiple volleyball nets, lots of open shaded areas.... More

Good, clean and inexpensive fun. There was plenty of shade and places to cook and sit. The attractions were fun for the kids and they had a great time. The canteen choices and prices were very good. The water was super cold so takes a while to get used to it. I highly recommend for a relaxing good time in... More

Absolutlly one of the best places to take the family for swimming . Well run, great safety measures. And nice to be able to bring our own food and picnic. Facilities were clean. Shade spots do go early .
