There is a lot of shops to see and good places to eat. Kids can go through the maze or ride the mechanical bull or do the petting zoo. We liked seeing the longhorns go down the street too. It is free to see the longhorns.

If you want to see what Texas is all about (cowboys, rodeos and bbqed food) then the Fort Worth Stockyards is the place to come. The stockyards is a fun little town that looks like your in an old western movie. There's a lot of restaurants and shopping as will. At the stockyards you can see real cowboys and long... More

This place is cool!! Smells like your in a pasture with your livestock but has some really nice places to eat and shop and comfy hotels. The train ride is relaxing and has some pretty scenery as you ride along the rails. Gotta go back!!!

Had a great day out. Spent seven hours looking around this area. Did the walking tour which was very worthwhile also. All staff we spoke to were fabulous.

Husband and I were in Texas on a business trip for me. We decided to have an evening out at The Stockyards. It was fantastic! We ate a great steak dinner and walked around and went into some of the shops. We didn't get there in time to see the cattle walk down Main Street, but, looking forward to that... More

Had a wonderful evening at the Ft. Worth stockyards. Spent time wandering the historic streets and enjoyed a great meal at the Stockyard Hotel's Bar. If you're looking for a slice of Texas history, the Wild West or just to spend a lazy afternoon daydreaming about western romance, this is the place for you!

Went mid afternoon Saturday and the place was very busy. Hard to find a park but found one in the end for $5. Wandered around for a while but the lines for every food place and anything worth looking at were way too long so we left and decided to return earlier on Sunday. Place was empty on Sunday and... Enjoyed the "cattle drive" and the "Cowboys" hanging about. Looks like Ricky has the food venue locked up as I saw his name on numerous restaurants. If you eat at the Burger place by the RR no need to order the buffalo burger cuz they over cook it regardless of how you order it. Highly disappointed, a definite waste of... More
