Although not completely connected to dedicated bike paths, it is quite possible to do “Y” rides of 50+ miles. Afternoons on weekends get a tad crowded with families out for a stroll spread across the trail, but otherwise very pleasant, pretty flat. Check the trail maps to see where you can go. Mellow Johnny’s bike shop and Press Cafe (near Mutts in ClearFork) are handy for start/stop/trailhead. Ride North along the West Fork to/past the falls to a trail head or follow the river south east to the boat house and beyond. I ride from Mira Vista, so there are some street miles (some with marked bike lanes).…

I attended a conference in Fort Worth and needed a place with fresh air and for some exercise. Went there twice for a walk and truly enjoyed it. Very peaceful and safe.

This trail system goes for dozens of miles. Concrete and gravel trails with tons of places along the way to eat drink, rent kayaks or bikes. The bike rental was really awesome, as it’s done by the city and you can drop it off at one of several bases throughout the trail - no need to bring it back to the one you picked it up from. There are monuments, artwork, parks, geocaching challenges - you name it. Highly recommend! …

We just shared a picnic table with some of our kids & grandkids sitting in the shade right next to the amazing playground "Dream Park". There are concreted trails extending for miles, along the Trinity River, near to Panther Island, downtown, Will Rogers Coliseum; numerous restaurants in the area, fairly good parking, lovely views, nice breezes, and people from near and far enjoying the time spent outdoors together. The playground is large with many different ways to play and exercise for children. It is protected with a wrought iron fence with only 2-3 gates. There are porta potties which were less than pristine, but useable. All in all a large city park with plenty to offer people of all ages.…
