- AnneTemple, Texas381 contributionsSister's TripMy sister came to visit for the first time and I took her to Fort Worth for the full Texas experience. We had a blast. She got to see two bands and the bars had no wait for drinks. Then we watched some good twostepping. We did not stay late and when we left the line to get in was out the door! You have got to make the trip to Billy Bobs!Visited October 2023Traveled with friendsWritten October 16, 2023
- TennisStar602New Jersey713 contributionsBilly Bob’s was among Fort Worth’s most popular venues. This establishment was very close to Exchange Street. Most patrons donned cowboy attire. There was a rodeo venue, a concert stage, many bars, and a restaurant. I ordered a Corona beer and brisket. The brisket came with macaroni and cheese, a piece of bread, and a side salad. It was expensive to purchase these meals, but the area was very popular. I did not see a show, but I got a picture next to the concert performer of that evening. There were a few live music performers, but I was not able to get very close to them. I was sure that this venue got crowded at the peak hours, but when I went into this venue the early evening hours, it was free to enter and it was not busy.Visited March 2024Traveled soloWritten March 24, 2024
- maxpasteMechanicsburg, Pennsylvania1,142 contributionsAmazing placeThis place is unlike anything I’ve seen before. I was surprised to have to pay $3 to get in, but I understood once inside. We were there during the day so the crowd was small and there was no entertainment going on. We played pool and enjoyed ourselves.Visited April 2024Traveled with friendsWritten April 10, 2024
- JOhnMilewskicoDenver, Colorado150 contributionsHonky tonk barHad a great time walking around Billybob. Lots of history lots to see. Plenty pool tables. Plenty of stages for live music. And seem very clean. Love the bull riding Anna that problem would be open for the public when they show it. I would certainly return in the evening.Visited April 2024Traveled with friendsWritten April 13, 2024
- California_momofsix1,123 contributionsHad a great time and felt comfortable even as a middle aged out of town coupleFirst time at Billy Bob's and we had the best time! We were visiting from out of state (for the eclipse) and we are an empty nester couple, and we don't drink, so I was a little concerned that we wouldn't feel comfortable. We should not have worried, so if you have never gone, you need to try it. We attended on a Saturday night for a Travis Tritt concert. Buying tickets was easy online, but you do have to download their app and set up an account. There is convenient parking in a lot across the street. We initially stood in a long line to enter, but staff opened several side doors and allowed people with tickets to enter quickly. Everyone was so friendly. The place is huge, and it was fun to just wander around and see all the memorabilia on the walls. There was no pressure to buy drinks or participate in any activity, you are pretty much free to wander around. We had general admission tickets, and even though we arrived shortly before the beginning of the performance we were able to find a spot next to the rail overlooking the seating session with a great view of the stage. Awesome crowd, all ages. We would love to go back to see other concerts, try some of the food and take some dance lessons.Visited April 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten May 10, 2024
- James HWoodford, United Kingdom24 contributionsSo Tell Me About This Honky Tonk !Had never heard of a Honky Tonk before visiting Fort Worth but so glad we did. In fairness it was during the lunchtime period on a Sunday so doubt we saw it at anywhere near its peak but can only imagine the fun times had there with music, bands, a huge pool hall and bull riding going on all under one roof. We had food and again it was just great, really hit the spot. Thank you to all of the staff who showed us great hospitality and a great time.Thank you JamesWritten August 28, 2024This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 16, 2024

Myself, Wife, and close friend flew from Kentucky Friday to see Kid Rock at your venue to celebrate wife's birthday, we purchased premium Pit tickets for Friday and Saturday night shows (3oo x6), Hotel stay 1500, airplane tickets (2000). So, after 5300 dollars, this is what transpired......
Friday night I was approached by someone (young guy and a girl) around 11 pm while we had relocated from premium pit to sit at a table in front of the house band stage. I had just purchased drinks for the three of us and sitting at the table. The young man said I had to leave but my wife and friend could stay(that wasn't going to happen) When I asked why, I wasn't given a straight answer other than Texas state law requires I leave and wasn't told exactly what I had done. I asked for manager but told that Manager was too busy to deal with this situation and not worth their time. I just went with it without confrontation for 2 reasons, I don't cause trouble and I was told any words back to them that I would go to jail. WOW! I actually work with Law enforcement at home and have worked security in past life in Key West. I have never seen anything like that....ever.
Saturday night we the were sitting by a couple people we met at the show, the couple had driven 4-1/2 hours for concert, and we were having great conversation, the house band had just started playing. For some reason security approached one of the ladies and said she would need to be searched. she complied with their request. They found "1" airplane bottle of whiskey in her coat. She said she was sorry and must have put it in there sometime during their trip and said she would throw it away. She actually had just got back from bar to purchase drinks. NOTE: Bottle in her coat had not been opened.
The young boy said that that wasn't an option to just throw away, and to get up and leave or that Law enforcement would be called to remove her. That said her and husband had to leave.
We had already planned another trip to Fort Woth for another concert at your place, this was our first visit to Fort Worth, needless to say we will be cancelling our trip. people spend hard earned money to enjoy themselves. I believe in a safe atmosphere, but someone is making some bad decisions directing how this stuff is handled. KARMA guys.
We wanted to love your place, but you guys ruined our trip.

The Package does not include Premium Pitt for shows, so you must have purchased tickets outside of the Viator system. Thank you for your comments. We do appreciate the feedback.

Went here on our trip to Fort Worth during the NFR. This is one of the only concert “venues” I’ve ever been to that sells general admission tickets that don’t actually let you see the concert. This is something they say is disclosed on the website but it’s vague and it wasn’t something I was told before buying these tickets which is annoying. I’ve been to much smaller places that make a reserved and a general admission (that you can see the stage from) work, so I don’t know why this place acts like it’s impossible. They might as well just call it a $25 cover charge for their overpriced giant bar with dance floors you can’t even use. The bouncers here are also some of the rudest people I’ve ever met. They get after you for not wearing your mask while you’re drinking but they don’t even have their mask on over their noses. One of my female friends was physically removed because she dropped her mask and couldn’t find it and they wouldn’t let us give her another one. It was overkill. This place could be cool but it’s really overrated. There’s a lot of other places in town that are a lot more fun and the bouncers won’t harass you the whole time. We wasted a good chunk of a night here and that was disappointing. The bathrooms are big and clean. The female bartenders were nice. But the setup and the bouncers acting like they work for the secret service really ruins it..

We understand your frustration. Due to Covid protocols, we had to make some adjustments to our standard operations. This included strictly enforcing masks and limiting our GA tickets from accessing the showroom wings in order to enforce social distancing. With recent updates from local and state governments, we have gotten to shift back to our previous operations and would love the opportunity to have you out again. Please contact us directly if you'd be interested and we will take care of your visit.

We purchased tickets to see REO Speedwagon through Stubhub (BE WARNED, they have issues with Stubhub at Billy Bob's so triple check to make sure you're all set when you get there). We arrived, had a bit of a challenge getting our tickets to work but the lady behind the counter worked her magic and we were able to get it. Watched REO Speedwagon (note: if you get tickets stay in rows A, B, or C, anything beyond that will be cheaper but a little too far away from the stage in my opinion). After the concert, we walked around and watched another band play amazing music which people danced (we preferred Corona and lime and watched people danced). We stayed a good 4 hours and it past very fast. Although lots of music playing it wasn't too bad in terms of loudness. Next time we're in Fort Wort we do plan to go back, just too much fun.

$3 to get in seemed odd but I suppose a lot of people just go there to look around and leave. We had lunch which was fine but expensive. Wandered around, the place is massive. Told occupancy is 6,000! There are 16 bar stations, live bull riding on weekend nights, autographed guitars, celebrity handprints, dance floor, pool tables. It was fun just to look around. Now I can say been there, bought the t-shirt.

i walked into Billy Bobs Texas looking for one thing that I knew they had, milk. I walk in and ask the security guards where the milk isle was and they did not respond in a helpful manner, instead, they laughed. I then continue to make my way to the counter (for some reason they had alcohol behind the service counter, almost looked like a bar to me) and asked where the milk isle was. They too looked at me and laughed. As I lashed out in anger now having no milk for my lucky charms breakfast, everyone in the dang restaurant continued to laugh. This establishment has horrendous customer service and will not be going back. I highly recommend that you do not go to Costco

Billy Bob's did not have any Viator Reservation Guests inside of the club on Sept 5. I think this
person maybe an imposter on this site.

Although this was not on our list of place to visit, we decided to go when our hotel comped us a couple tickets for Friday night. We were surprised at how large the place was! The tiny dance floor was hardly adequate for the amount of people this place could hold.
We payed $4 to watch some bull riding although only one of them was even able to stay on for 8 seconds.
The drinks were very overpriced and watered down.
Unless I was seeing a concert, I wouldn’t bother returning to this tourist trap.

Each time I have been in town for work we make it a point to come to Billy Bob's! There is always fun to be had and the concerts are very good! I will say though if you purchase something from the gift shop and are traveling make sure they help you secure the package. I had an item break when traveling and spoke with a manager a day after arriving home. He was very kind and said that he would replace it no problem and a year later, the item had not been replaced. I visited the venue later and after speaking with several managers I ended up purchasing another one. I understand these things happen and it is no one's fault and they don't have to be nice, but with the money they turn over at this place a $5 item isn't going to hurt business, plus it seemed they were caring and understanding.

I had not been to Billy Bobs in over 38 years , we went back to see how it looked. Was amazed that it cost $2.00 per person to get in during the early afternoon. There was no entertainment. We ate lunch the BBQ was expensive and nothing fabulous. I was disappointed.

Fun evening with friends. Good house band and really good 'prime time' band. Ask when JOLIE AND SONNY will be there and go enjoy! They were a lot of fun and sang a great variety of country music from original songs to covers. Dance floor was packed. Great evening out!

Hi all, there's a scheduled Murder Mystery Dinner and Show on a Saturday night we are visiting. It is $60pp but we are not interested in seeing that. Is it possible to pay the general entrance fee only (and how much approx) or wouldn't we be allowed in without paying a full ticket? Thanks in advance
Written September 10, 2018
You can just enter on a general admission from memory I think it was $14-$16 Dollars per person if you want to see the live bull riding it is an extra cost as well when you are inside
