Amazing to see inside

The sheer size of this place inside is astonishing. We were lucky someone let us have spare tickets as it was sold out. Huge place with so many areas. Definitely worth seeing. You can go in during the day if it is going to be a busy evening. I would recommend doing (there will be a cover charge) as the size of it is immense and worth seeing.

Beware of credit card scam in Billy Bob Fort Worth

this place and its management deserve no praise. In December, one of the barmaids tried to rob me of over $3,800 from my credit card, whose details she had, because I spent several hours there, spending $20. (have confirmed by their accountant that only 4 transactions for this value, nothing more). I left the bar before midnight. 2 hours after leaving, while I was already asleep, a few minutes before the bar closed at 1:54 am, my bank txt me an alert that they had blocked a suspicious transaction and my card as well cause someone had just attempted to make on my card at this bar (my card at that moment was in my wallet more than 20 miles from the bar...)

My bank sent me a letter in PDF with the transaction number, the amount that was paid, the date and time, and the location of the payment terminal I contacted the manager, informed him of the incident,

I said I'm counting on an internal investigation and an explanation and an apology - unfortunately the manager was not interested in talking and said that I can report this attempted theft by the bar employee to the police.

I strongly do not recommend the Billy Bob bar and I suggest you watch your credit cards - never give them to the bartender because you never know if you will find someone who will want to rob you.

Shame on the management who didn't want to seek agreement and explanation.

This failed money theft attempt (which is also a crime under law) has been reported to the police and I will monitor the person responsible for this attempted theft to face consequences and the management will apologize for their approach to the victim

It was a super sweet time checking out Billy Bob's. The vibe here is awesome and the music is great. If you're in Fort Worth it's definitely worth checking out Billy Bob's.

Billy Bobs famous honky tonk

I have heard of this bar and the acts that gig there, so had to visit. The $3 cover charge to get in seemed weird, but still a massive bar , plenty of pool tables, cold beer and excellent food. Would have loved to see a show, but we were there in the day. Would definitely come back

Amazing Time Watching Concert and Bands Play All Night Long

We purchased tickets to see REO Speedwagon through Stubhub (BE WARNED, they have issues with Stubhub at Billy Bob's so triple check to make sure you're all set when you get there). We arrived, had a bit of a challenge getting our tickets to work but the lady behind the counter worked her magic and we were able to get it. Watched REO Speedwagon (note: if you get tickets stay in rows A, B, or C, anything beyond that will be cheaper but a little too far away from the stage in my opinion). After the concert, we walked around and watched another band play amazing music which people danced (we preferred Corona and lime and watched people danced). We stayed a good 4 hours and it past very fast. Although lots of music playing it wasn't too bad in terms of loudness. Next time we're in Fort Wort we do plan to go back, just too much fun.

$3 to get in seemed odd but I suppose a lot of people just go there to look around and leave. We had lunch which was fine but expensive. Wandered around, the place is massive. Told occupancy is 6,000! There are 16 bar stations, live bull riding on weekend nights, autographed guitars, celebrity handprints, dance floor, pool tables. It was fun just to look around. Now I can say been there, bought the t-shirt.

Huge place with decently priced drinks and an awesome atmosphere. I don’t frequent bars but wanted to go here since I was in the area. Went on a Friday night about 9pm lots of people from all walks of life clean air and fast and friendly bar staff. There was a concert that night that you can hear and watch in the screens if you didn’t buy a seated ticket (which I didn’t).

flew to America this year for two reasons. Talladega and to visit here. Schedules mean i had one day possibly two to visit. Checked website. Open til midnight. Great. Walked in at 430 to be charged $3 each just to get in. Really? And told we shut at 6 ?? Why. The website says midnight ?? Ok. Still time For food. Walked in and the place was basically shut. Bar lady chatting to mates. Half the lights turned off. Food staff laying about on phones. Walked in and told your either your ordering take out or nothing as we shut at 5 !! What the hell. Went back to door girl and asked we only came for food. At 430 why can’t they use hour and a half to do it. And can we just use tickets tomorrow and try and get back earlier. Was told tough. Pay again. Literally worst place I’ve been to in my dozen or so American trips. Rude lazy staff. Social media can’t update website. Don’t waste your time and effort. No wonder places like this charge to get in as they know tourists won’t be impressed.

I wasn’t aware you had to pay just to enter. I arrived at 4:15 with the hope of getting food from the restaurant and was told they shut at 6. That’s fine. I go to the restaurant and am told they shut at 5, so can only order take out. Didn’t seem worth it so asked if I could use my ticket again to get in tomorrow as I only came for the restaurant. Was told no. Didn’t seem worth it to walk in and out and wouldn’t go back. No drinks at bar. Looked like it was ready to shut at 4:15.
