We have been to the Stockyards many times, but this was our first time going to the rodeo. We bought general admission tickets at the box office 45 minutes before the start. The coliseum is small with all chair backs so no reason to by box seats. My family enjoyed the rodeo overall and would recommend to go once to... More

Everything you expect out of a rodeo! Bronco riding, calf roping, calf wrangling, cowgirls barrel racing, and of course the bull riding! Highlight of the evening was my 9 YO daughter getting her picture made with Shaylie, the winner of the barrel racing! Shaylie, only 16 YO, and her mom and dad (an awesome calf roper himself) invited us to... More

It is a mix of entry-level rodeo with western shows for tourists. All rodeo events vary because of available participants. Overall, worth attending.

This is a perfect spot to take your family. Lots of great restaurants, shopping and attractions. I wish I would've known beforehand how much there was to do so I could have spent more time here. The wild west show beforehand was fun and more personal and the rodeo was great for all!

I would have given it 5 stars but the AC is so inadequate that I was drenched by the time the Rodeo was over. But I would still go back. Excellent prices for families.

I couldn't visit Dallas without going to a Rodeo. At just $20 entrance fee this was an absolute treat. Shows are on Fridays and Saturdays. Book in advance if you would like the preferred seats. Show was approximately 3 hours. Bull riding, tricks and competitions took place. Both cowboys and cowgirls can be seen doing their thing. Definitely worth a... More

Fun for a first-time rodeo goer. Wouldn't necessarily return. General admission seating is the way to go.

My first time at a Rodeo, an interesting experience. When I’ve watched Rodeo on the TV I couldn’t believe how different it was, these guys are lunatics, it looks a lot worse in real life in terms of danger & I take my hat off to them. It had humour, danger, pride & much more. If you’ve never been, you... More

Great rodeo show... horse racing around barrels, roping calves, riding bulls. It has a healthy dose of Americana. Wear your boots, hat, and a bit of plaid!
