We do a lot of traveling, so I've been to a lot of zoos. This is definitely in the spot for best ever(next to the Bronx zoo) The habitats are so nicely made, the animals seem so happy & lively. We came on a very hot day & the animals were still very active. Could not believe how big the... More

Just to the south of the Ft. Worth cultural district, in a beautiful setting is the FT. Worth zoo. There is a wide variety of animals, birds, reptiles and all manner of critters. The animals are well displayed and well taken care of. This is a family friendly place and one that folks around here go to often. There is... More

We've been here many times and it is one of the best zoos in the USA. Plenty of animals to see, things to do and good shaded areas, which are so important in Texas.

Needed an activity to take Abby to for the day. Why not the zoo. Off we went. We loved seeing the "mingos" right as we walked in the gate. Beautiful pink. We saw so many "amnials" and we got to feed the birds which was so fun and got to ride the train. We loved our visit

6 yr old granddaughter ' s 1st trip to Ft W zoo. We learned to bring closed toe shoes for the climbing wall. The inside water play area is fantastic. The zoo itself is beautiful!

It's a huge zoo, fit for a funfilled afternoon or morning. I strongly recommend the annual membership if you live near FW. They recently opened a very small Water park, which is charges an extra fee but is fun for toddlers and small kids. The train ride and old texas town are fun attractions.

The Fort Worth zoo has been designed with families in mind, as activities are scheduled year round to support a repetitive and active family lifestyle.
