A fun zoo to visit, about 4-5 hours for a thorough day trip

A nice view, somewhere between Brookfield Zoo and Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. Not too big, not to small, easy to navigate and a fun day.

The zoo was very clean, well laid out, and just what you would expect from a zoo. It was free of trash. I went during the middle of the week and it was not crowded at all. It was a great date for casual walking and conversation.

You will enjoy this zoo. It is crowded but worth the visit. It has more waterfalls than i have ever seen at a zoo. It has super astuary. The lions seemed feet away. If here go to zoo.

Wednesdays are half price day but normal tickets aren't bad. They have fun exhibits and beautiful animals but there's no one to ask questions to. I needed to visit for class and ask questions about a specific primate to put in a research paper. I was told I could email to the website and expect a response in 6-8 weeks.... More

The Fort Worth Zoo is a must to visit. The exhibits are amazing and the layout is perfect and manageable for all ages. They do a great job of providing special exhibits on a regular basis so there is always something new to see. It is a great experience.

This is a favorite for our grandkids. It is really pretty in the fall when the leaves are changing and it's not so hot. The spring is very nice too and there are many baby animals being born at that time and the animals are not hiding in the shade because of the heat. The natural settings for the animals... More

During my trip to the area a friend and I wanted to see what there was to offer here. Nothing about this zoo stood out. Two things I enjoyed most was feeding the birds and petting and brushing a goat. Was disappointed when the otters weren't out to see. Compared to other zoos I didn't feel anything set it apart...
