    Good times!
Checked out a Friday night rodeo here and really enjoyed ourselves. Set in the silver spur boxes and it made for a perfect view. Seating was comfy, drinks were cheap enough and the venue was clean. Would consider it a must do if in town.

    Clean intimate venue
Air conditioned! I wasn’t expecting that but what a pleasant surprise in 113° temps! Clean, organized, everyone is kind and helpful. I was going to purchase tickets online but really wanted the Gold Bucket seats. I went to the box office and was able to purchase Gold Bucket seats. No added fees! So comfy and worth it. You’re up close and seats are comfy. The venue is small and there aren’t any bad seats. The animals exit towards the side opposite of the coliseums entrance.

    Fun Experience
Went to the ticket booth 3 times before I actually bought the tickets for the bull fighting as I thought it was a bit pricey once the tax had been added. However, we really enjoyed the show which lasted 90 minutes. It was also great to think Elvis once performed there too.

    Rodeo and Bull Fighting
The Cowtown Coliseum is a great venue for events at the stockyards such as the rodeo and bull fighting. We enjoyed both while in town. The location is perfect for those who are enjoying the stockyards, with many shops and restaurants in the area. If you would like something to eat or drink inside, concessions and a bar are both offered. Nice venue with lots of history.

Very Fun Except Bad Sound System
The riders and others competing in the rodeo were great. It was a fun experience. The one thing that took away from the experience was we couldn’t understand a word the announcer was saying. I guess I would blame it on the sound system.

    Heehaw! Go to the Rodeo
What a fabulous first time experince for us. We loved the full show, great to see mix of ages. From Bull riding, Barrel racing, roping, and more. The roping show in the middle was fantastic.

    Fun Night but HORRIBLE Audio
We bought last minute tickets to the Saturday night event to start our vacation to Texas. The event was great, nice way to do something we don’t really have in the Northeast. My kids enjoyed it. Seats in the suite were perfect with a nice view. Food was okay. I really wished they had fountain drinks vs bottled but not a huge problem. The only real problem here is that it is absolutely impossible to understand a single sentence the announcer is saying. You might get a word here or there but that’s it. It would have been preferable to have no announcer to the noise of someone speaking so loud for no reason since you can’t understand it. This is not announcer’s fault but the sound technician and audio system. They didn’t account for acoustics with their design. Please, I beg you, fix this atrocity.

    Classic Texas Rodeo
The Cow Coliseum is a great venue - well maintained and spotless! The rodeo was a blast with lots of high energy, non-stop entertainment supporting the competitors in each event. We had a blast and would absolutely go back again if we're ever in Fort Worth! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I went online to buy tickets to the PBR event on June 1st. We had received some free tickets to a rodeo event in the past and enjoyed it. I attempted to purchase 5 tickets for 3 adults at $35 each and 2 kids at $15 each. It came to $135.00 as expected and then I knew there would be taxes and possibly a couple dollar service charge per ticket for buying them online. However when I got to the checkout my total was a $2.50 per order fee whatever that is and $32.30 in convenience fees, then a $20.00 facility fee. A total of $54.80 in fees which brought the total to $189.80. Completely unacceptable. Granted if you e ever been to the coliseum you know it needs the money for building maintenance but to pay more than a third of the price in service fees. And as other reviewers have mentioned there is no way around this. Even if you go to the box office you pay the same fees. I hope we get some more free tickets someday because that’s the only way we will be going back. I don’t mind paying for tickets but the fees are outrageous.

Waste of money! Don’t get me wrong, what we actually did see was fine and fun. The problem is that they are pitching this as a complete rodeo and they are charging high prices for it. Unfortunately once you are there, it’s not what you paid for! In the advertised 2 hour rodeo, it started 5 minutes late, there was a 20 minute intermission, then it ended 20 minutes early. We were waiting for the bull riding - 1 bull ride! C’mon, how can you have 1 bull rider (who did NOT go for 8 seconds) and call it a rodeo?!?! Maybe an hour and 15 minutes long!

While I’m certain we would’ve had a fun experience, I couldn’t justify paying the fees on top of the listed ticket prices. The most affordable ticket prices were $35 for adults and $15 for children. I selected our seats online, and clicked the button to pay, expecting about $100.

The total came to over $140 - almost half of our ticket prices in fees. Included was a $25 web convenience fee.

I called the box office asking if I could buy tickets over the phone. I was told no, that the total would be the same. If we bought tickets directly at the box office, the ticket prices would’ve been adjusted higher to account for the difference, still totaling to over $140.

The Rodeo itself is not reviewed.

The Review applies to the non existing customer service.
Seats were sold to a family of five with a broken seat.
Alternative seats were of lower quality. The offered solution was to get the money back.

Not really what you expect nor want when you plan your weekend trip around a rodeo.

This is a nice coliseum but the sound system is terrible and there often wasn’t any warning when an event started. There should be an an announcement when someone or an animal is about to charge out. Maybe it was because the sound system was so hard to hear. Still, we enjoyed being there for the rodeo and the admission price was reasonable.

We throughly enjoyed the PBR Bull Riding event at Cowtown Coliseum. The bulls and the athletes were first rate, the crowd was excellent and the production of the event was very well done. We arrived at the stockyards around 1pm, had an enjoyable afternoon touring the historic sites, taking a buggy ride, cocktails and live music at Tannehills and then the PBR event. Very enjoyable day, we’ll be back.

Friday night rodeo was fun. Really enjoyed seeing the cowboys try their hand at the events. Seeing the little kids get involved trying to grab ribbons off the steers or sheep was great. The ability of the cowboys to rope the steers is amazing.

As one reviewer commented, customer service does not exist at the Cowtown Coliseum. My daughter and I experienced a broken seat. When I reported this to the man I was referred to as "Santa Claus", he dismissed me to say he was too busy to take care of the broken seat and that the show was sold out (no seats) and to meet him after the show since he had too much going on and would not remember my concern. I did approach to explain that I wanted to make sure that the seat needed to be acknowledged as BROKEN so that another spectator would not get hurt. Again, I felt dismissed as he didn't notate any information. I thank God my daughter did not get hurt as the seat fell out from under her. I ended up switching seats with her. I was very uncomfortable for the next two hours. Oh well, now I understand why there were folding chairs in the next "Golden Buckle Box" row one seat 2 BUYER BEWARE! You would think this would be a liability to the coliseum.
