The Community Activity Center in Flower Mound offers a small waterpark experience for families on a budget. It costs $6 for adults and $4 for kids if you are residents of Flower Mound ($8 and $6 if you are not). There is an indoor pool with diving boards and also a mini rock climbing wall the kids can scale before jumping back into the water. The outdoor area has two large water slides, a mini-lazy river (no inner tubes; just body floating); a little vortex (that whirls you around in its current), and a play structure (basically a small playground with a couple of tot slides, soft landing, and water features, including a dumping bucket). The outdoor waterpark also has a concession stand.
This experience is best for kids age 5-12 who are swimming. It would probably bore children over 12. Once you pay to go in, that entry gives you access to the indoor pool/outdoor waterpark, locker rooms, fitness center, and game room (with air hockey, wii, shuffleboard, ping pong, foosball, pool, etc.), so you can stay a bit longer and play or exercise as well.
It's not an impressive park, but it's cheap and clean, and my kids enjoyed it. Go on a weekday to avoid crowds.

Hello
If you live in Flower Mound, definately recommend checking this place out. You can get a family membership which gives all members access to:
- Indoor Pool
- Outdoor Pool/Waterpark.
- Gym
- Workout Equipment
- Game Room
My kids have also attended Lego camps here and taken swim lessons.
We have used the CAC a lot and good value.
Kids are always asking when can we go to CAC.

If you ever need to keep the kids entertained, look here first. From equipment, facilities to classes and camps, they have it. The water park is family oriented. The "fun" cut off for kids is 8th or 9th grade. Water park is geared for smaller kids. Indoor pool is available year round too. If you are a resident, there are great family packages too😎

My daughter has been attending ballet/tap classes there. This semester, after already starting off in our usual room, they moved us to a windowless, bar less, and floors not made for tap. As matter of fact, the instructor told the kids they cant wear their tap shoes during class because they could fall on this floor.
When I asked for a manager., a young girl stated she was the manager of the community center, but on their website she is listed as: Program coordinator. She wasn't helpful, didn't not once apologize. and said basically that group classes are priority and they get to just move us. Also stated she wasn't sure if we would even get a refund (only had 1 class since new session) because she wasn't in charge of that.
Service is #1 to me. If Service and quality matter to you, I recommend going elsewhere.
I emailed the Real manager. I will update my review if I get better results. Such as a SAFE Environment and a dance room that we started off with...

We go to the CAC 4-6 times each week. If you want to stay strong and stay in shape the activity center is the place to go. They have a full range of weight machine, free weights as well as treadmills, elliptical trainers, recumbent bikes. Plus there's a basketball court, game room with foosball, pool table, and a pool. Classes such as yoga, chi-yoga, palates, Zumba & water aerobics are nicely spread out throughout the week and are offered in the morning as well as evening. The entire facility is beautifully maintained & they offer child care during the classes. I highly recommend the Flower Mound Community Activity Center.

We took our 1 year old and had a blast! We signed up for a membership based on the pool alone. I can't wait to go back!

Nice community pool with a lazy river and a few water slides. There is also a large toddler area in the pool that is fun for the little ones. It's not a huge area, but it is fun for the kids.

The upstairs gym is small but good with a good selection of equipment and a run/walk track that circles the upper level around the gym and above various courts used for basketball and various other sports.
Solid gym.

We took our Grandchildren to CAC while they were visiting in town. We all loved it. The lifeguards were outstanding and everyone was very helpful.
