If you visit this wonderful park during the week, it will be only yours. The voice of the birds is very reassuring. You can walk in the trails with wonderful sound of the birds. Here are some pictures, take a look.

Until recently this was a coal,fired power plant so I do not remember any homes lakeside.

Unless there is a weather related closure, the State park will be open. The park is closed however from December 27 at 5:00 pm thru 1:00 pm January 1.
