The state park has merged with the river authority, Brackenridge park. November is perfect. Hike, fish, relax.

Came in on Sunday afternoon, and left on Wednesday. Very few campers this time of year. Sites are all large and easy to access. Also large trees and brush between sites to provide more privacy. We were in site #124 across road from lake, and had a great view of the lake. Wifi access is good, but you need to... More

We always make multiple trips to the park...now owned and operated by Lavaca Navidad RA. They do such a fantastic job. So many excellent campsites with all having water views. Park is clean, restrooms are clean and heated/cooled. Love this place

Live in Edna and lake texana is the perfect camping spot for us!! Love all the sites especially the ones with water views. We swam in the lake this past stay. Walked off in it and had a great time. Our favorite spot is 118. Lots of trees and shade. You're able to book 90 days in advance and I... More

We spent the weekend camping with some friends. What a great time, we had a spot on the side away from the water so it was not too windy but we had a nice view of the water. We rode our bikes all over the park and on some of the trails. We saw alligators, snakes, deer, armadillos and many... More

Great place for camping or bringing your rv. Good amount of space between camp sites. Full hook ups and partial hook ups. Lots of spots to fish. Bring sunblock though. Several walking/nature trails. Long ones and shorts ones so everyone can do them. Bring your bikes too. Great area for biking. Sunsets are amazing. Camp fires are welcomed and a... More

The Breckenridge Recreation Complex is a great place!!! There are actually 2 parks on each side of the highway. We stayed at the Breckenridge side this past weekend and loved it. Even when the park was packed with campers, it was quiet and very family oriented. We played miniature golf, did some bike riding around both parks and did some... More

Former Texas State Park now named Brackenridge Recreation Complex. Very nice complex made up of 2 parks, Lake Texana and Brackenridge, each across the highway from each other. Brackenridge seems to have a little more offerings such as disc golf, putt putt, marina (not always open), and cabins for rent. Texana to me is a more of the traditional state... More

On a whim, we decided to give an overnight camping trip in January a try. It is Texas and the weather can be 90 degrees down to 20 degrees! If you camp on the regular, or love to camp, or have always wanted to camp, or just need an outdoor getaway, Lake Texana State Park is just the place. Uber... More
