Hard to go wrong. Huge selection, they will pay for many of your used books and great prices! Right on the Square. You can shop for hours and not see it all. A few steps to an antiques store and various types of food.

Recycled books is a must go in store for any book lover. My kids absolutely love this place. We always end up getting a few books every time we go. The prices are great as well. Do yourself a favor and go in and look around this historic building on the square.

This is a huge old store that sits on the historical Denton downtown square. Theres plenty of places to eat, drink, shop, & stroll. This is a wonderful place to just sit & read for hours. They buy new & used books, cds, dvds, and yes, even vinyl records from the old days. The prices are rock bottom & they... More

Be prepared to walk back in time, to a day lost in dreams of yesteryear, books and stories and imaginarium of tomorrows asleep until read and alive in the memories of your mind. Pick a book, any book, and imagine the hands that might have held it. The room that it once sat in. The life of the person or... More

Go when you have a few hours to kill and you won't be done be the end of it. There are lots of levels and rooms to explore, all with different surprises and amazing prices! If you are into vinyl, it's there right when you come in the door. Otherwise, just visit to waste away an afternoon exploring, finding treasures,... More

Recycled Books is simply the coolest bookstore you have ever visited. Imagine a hoarder, who only collects books, records, and dvd's; then have him store his eclectic collection of goods in a purple mansion right in the heart of the downtown landscape. 1 part haunted house, 1 part bookstore. No matter your passion or hobby, it has a section on... More

My wife and I first met Don and Lucy, the founders on Oakland street across from TWU. It is amazing to see how they have grown. Don has become an expert on all kinds of books and records. His knowledge and expertise is wide and varied.

There is very little reason to do a "quick stop" here, although it is doable if you know exactly what you are looking for and how to ask for it. There are all sorts of treasures to be found here!! And they even buy back some as well! Always one of my favorite places in Denton. Love the history of... More

Again, I love the smell of old books. Reminds me of happy childhood times. Super selection and reasonably priced.
