Really interesting history, but even better if you can catch a tour. The folk who tell the history really know their stuff. Call ahead see when the tours are running, generally spring and fall. Perfect for scouts, school groups, civic groups, old or young.

I visited this place more than one time. I love the way the museum truly reflects what life was like during "That time."

Love how they moved these old houses to downtown, the history is amazing but they could add more furniture.
