The statute of Eisenhower it's really detailed with him wearing his military suit. It is just a "bust" of the President but too me you see more. The setting is nice and it is right off the highway. You don't have to worry about getting lost, you exit and pull into the monument and then get right back on hwy.... More

Great monument to the veterans of Grayson County. Also President Eisenhower bust monument is large. Worth a quick stop.

Not sure why you would build a giant head on the side of the freeway but it's there so we had to see it. I'm not big on feelings so it's had to connect with stuff like this.

The history that this marker shows is awesome. They did a great job on the statue and the colors are perfect. The bricks with the military names on it is very special. They will not be forgotten.

This is a great memorial to stop and see. Don't miss the beautiful Loy Lake after you see the monument. A very nice little lake to drive around or you could bring your sack lunch to enjoy in this beautiful setting. Also, there's an extra treat in this stop. Frontier Village is open to the public. There are several restored... More

Took a moment to stop and see the monument, the bricks with the names of contributors and drive by the lake and Frontier Village. Restful and a great history lesson on any afternoon.

A nice spot to honor a former General and President of the USA. The park around the memorial is a great place to take the kids or get some exercise.

You cannot help but be in awe of the man who who lead the Allied forces that stopped the Nazis, then lead our nation. This is a fitting tribute; very nicely done. Easy access from the highway makes it a no-brainier. If you're passing through, take a few moments to stop by and reflect on a great American hero.

This nice monument can be easily seen from Hwy 75 as you travel either north or south. The area is just a few feet off the intersection thus making it easy to get off , spend a few minutes taking photograph and then back onto the highway. By the way there is an old village (reconstructed) in the park behind... More
