My family was in town for the NCA event and wanted to take the family somewhere in the evening. The show was great and good was good. You need to get reservations and tell the you want the promo discount to get 15 of the tickets.

I upgraded 4 tickets which included an entrance photo, but then I was charged extra for the photo. I have called their 888 number 3 times now. No one from the chicagoland castle has the time to return a call, apparently. The call center in Georgia has been very nice and helpful as far as they can go minus the... More

This had been a long time bucket list type item for me. I probably head it built up a little too much in my head so at first I was a little put off by the upsell on the souvenirs and extras but I adjusted and head a great time. I would say the food is just so-so but the... More

Lots of fun. I took my 12 and 10 year old, and I was afraid they were going to be too old to enjoy it, but they absolutely loved it. Very engaging and entertaining, and the horses are amazing and well trained. It's easy to get caught up in buying extras, but even if you don't, you'll get a great... More

Good Show, Food ok, be ready to spend a lot on souvenirs. My first time visit. Don't go for the special drink glasses unless you want to spend a lot of money. Horses and costumes were great. Friendly actors available for photos.

I would not have bought tickets for the older kids or just my husband and myself. But for our 5 year old this was perfect! He had a blast! Tickets are a little high. We got the Kings Royalty and we were expecting a little bit extra but only got a picture each (same picture), a towel and lanyard. We... More

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad your son had an excellent time at the castle. Our show does change every 5 years to give your son a new experience at age 10. The King has high hopes to see your family again soon! More

Not crazy about the food. But my family really enjoyed the whole thing, so it was worth it! Be prepared to eat with your hands-yuck. There are horses in the room while you eat-yuck. The acting is overdone...but it does become engaging.

I hadn't been to this place since I was a teenager and was skeptical of how much fun I would have as an adult watching this show but I was pleasantly surprised and had a great time. Its a place to let loose and yell and cheer and eat and all while enjoying adult beverages! If you are looking for... More

Thank you for your review! We are glad to see the show hasn't lost its valor during your journey to adulthood. There is always a reason to come back, whether it is the knights, horses or serfs and wenches. It joys us knowing you had a "knight" to remember. Come back to the castle again soon. King Carlos would love... More

Initially it is similar to those out-of-the country tourist resort dinner shows, then after you are seated the real excitement begins. The food was delicious, even though there were no eating utensils. We were spending the night at the Comfort Suites and the evening manager advised us to take some with us. Everything was awesome and great entertainment for every... More

Thank you for the review! Not eating with utensil's is part of the fun at Medieval Times. Usually the King throws anyone with utensils in the dungeon. We hope you come back to the castle again soon! More

This was my first experience for this type of dining! Good food, fun and laughter! Great family environment! A must go and experience the knights show! They are fun to watch!
